I haven't bothered posting on here for a good while after I chose not to renew my pass this year following yet another price-hike, and pretty much felt like I was totally disconnected from being a supporter as a result. Add to that general tetchiness of this forum at times, I decided just to read and keep up to date with goings on that way. I am heartened to see that there's now almost universal disenchantment with the ownership, it was going to happen eventually, and I hope to hear later on today that the anti-Allam chants were louder and more spread around the ground than ever before. I think it's a shame it's taken this long but perhaps we're now starting to get a unified support again. I hope so. It would appear that my membership would cost me less than last year's season pass price (and so it should, that price was an insult) but I am staying out of it until we have new ownership, and the Allam's membership scheme and general pricing policies are dispensed with altogether by someone new.
It has always been stated on here that attending a FWG meeting was dependent on being invited by the club. If someone was not invited then they are not a member of the FWG group. It all seems a nonsense.
It's not strictly true that it's subject to an invite from the club, plus it wasn't an FWG meeting, but a meeting of some people from the FWG. The club weren't there for a kick off. I'm still not sure why some are hunting issues from it though.
I believed attending a FWG meeting is by club invitation, when did it change? If another (membership) meeting was held, seperate to the FWG, then why are the details being kept secret, is there a point? If there is no point to any secrecy then post names and associations, if there is a point to the secrecy then it would be more sensible for you all to stick to emails and personal messaging. All of this twilight zone stuff is a nonsense.
I don't think it's ever been by invite. As far as I recall, it was open to anyone interested initially. There was talk of the initial bods being whittled down, but I don't think that was ever needed. It seems it's academic anyway, as for a variety of reasons, it seems it's having to be restructured. The other thing is neither here nor there. It's just been exploded beyond its relevance for some peculiar reason.
My understanding was that the club opened it up for people to apply, some did as group reps, some as interested individuals, those the club wanted to attend were then invited.
I guess it could be one of wording, but I certainly know some on the group that don't fall into that version. I think the club have tried to make it as open to as many as possible, but they keep the right to exclude people if they feel the need. I've rattled on before about my view on some of the logic applied. It'll be interesting to see what the restructure is like.
Only one Anti Allam Chant and a piss poor one at that Fans who had previously told me there not joining the scheme now are joining They intend move seat or pay the extra Even west stand uppers on coach are going to move Nearly smacked a daft **** who sad its always negativity from some Ask him if he was off to Bolton.....No He doesnt go away Selfish twats dont seem to give a **** about young fans Wouldnt be suprised if a protest gets shunned by many On coach going home Hopefully plenty are going to protest ****ing stewards stood letting leeds fans in N5 and not giving a toss. While checking city fans were sat / stood near there right seats.
Four Leeds fans got thrown out of the corporate seats in the first half and another six seemed to leave out of sympathy, I'm not even sure what they got thrown out for.
Really sad When you're disgusted about something, but everyone else just seems to carry on as normal it's no wonder those people who are disgusted just drift off rather than stay and fight a fight that others don't seem interested in having
Damn hooligan minority eh! Well done that man. Says it all. Why are so many so tolerant of the bastards? Only in Hull? Either walk away or attend and protest.
A really good chant very nearly got going in the North Stand, unfortunately it didn't carry momentum.. he's badder than yours, he's badder than yours… our chairman is badder than yours!'
I was talking to that man outside west stand.....even he is going to pay the extra £200 they want off him ****ing disgraceful
I ripped my membership scheme up and showered it onto peoples heads in N4 Really suprised how people near me have changed there minds .. Everyone was walking past that man with the protest around his neck Well i cant go on tuesday so thats one home game left for. To juniors are happy to go to more away games next season so thats one good thing
