Funny story about "Derek" (that's his name). When I bought him and got him home I was disappointed to find that he was in fact a woman. Took him straight back to Gwenaps and complained that my day had been ruined. The shop assistant looked at me very strangely then informed me that Derek was actually inside out and proceeded to call me a ****. Some people eh? Weirdo.:bandit:

I think we need to keep any protest focused on the membership scheme and try not to make it a protest against our owner. We know how stubborn they are and aggravating them isn't going to help change their minds. Besides we know our fan base is split over the Allams from protests in the past. The membership scheme should be something we can all unite on.

we know our fan base is split over the Allams?

    IS or WAS?
Surely NOBODY can defend them any more?
Why pretend it's just about the membership scheme; surely everybody must be pig sick of them and want them out.

Well we'll see today won't we. When Allam out starts see if the chant gathers momentum or kills the atmosphere in the ground like it has done in the past.

I'd put a fair bit of coin on the Allam Out chanting being far louder today than ever before, they seem absolutely intent on making it so.

They're big City fans and HCST partners. Excellent marketing by them here.

At 18 and 65 minutes everybody stand up and turn round. To symbolise turning your back on the club if they go ahead with the membership scheme

It's all very well getting organised but all the evidence of Allam's character is that he won't listen. Plus it'll become a situation where that weak man can't back down.

    I wasn't at the gate I'm afraid
But at the game I was surprised about the lack of anti Allam feeling

Maybe some people are just used to being downtrodden ?

i was expecting a more hostile atmosphere, maybe people were trying to take Bruces advice and get behind the team ( even tho that didnt happen much either)
or maybe realised there is no point chanting at people who arent even there?

I met a few people including three from the Trust. The Trust may be organising a protest for Brentford so I'll watch this space. There is a lot of work to do to unite our supporters. I'm confident we can achieve it. Whether we can do that by the end of the season is an open question.

The atmosphere today was all about TWS and their supporters. From the kick off I felt any anti-Allam/membership scheme was going to be difficult. The last 15 minutes when TWS were able to keep up a constant chant shows the disastrous effect the east stand evictions were.

In the words of Steve Bruce we dust ourselves down and prepare for next time.

Yes, but we didn't keep up,a continuous chant very often when we had the part of the East Stand which away fans have now and the supposedly better acoustics in the North Stand were the reason given for being outsung st home. The fact is we don't have enough who sing. Wednesday managed to have a full complement of fans stood up and singing today. How come the away tickets for other clubs end up with people who stand up and sing and at least half of ours, even when we don't sell them all, end up with people who are determined to,sit like they are at a theatre?

I heard first hand today that some of those most vocal against our owners in the past, and still so today had already signed up to the membership scheme although 'reluctantly'.

Thought the crowd got it about right today in terms of directing their anger at the new scheme and not at the team. The announcer was totally drowned out by booing at half time as soon as he mentioned "Earn your stripes."
