We have to be happy with a point, but our next two games are must win if we have any chance.

Excellent fighting spirit. We had chances to win it, but we could have lost it also.

    Swansea (H) win
    Man City (H) draw
    Livepool (A) draw

If someone offered us this before the games then we'd have snapped their hands off. It's as good as we could have hoped for, regardless of what happened later on.

We have 5 out of 9 points and we need about 7 more. I think we can do it. We can beat Palace and I think we'll beat Villa. I believe we can get a point or maybe more vs Spurs.

    WE CAN DO IT!

    My thoughts -

    Ratings -

Darlow - 6 - Could have guarded his box better, but some good saves.

Anita - 8 - Solid and hard working as usual. A great assist also.

    Lascelles - 7.5 - Solid.

    Mbemba - 7.5 - Solid.

Dummett - 4 - Caught out of position several times and stupidly just knocking balls to know one.

Townsend - 7 - Hard working in defence, some good runs forward and decent deliveries.

Tiote - 7 - Not as good as he was against City, but worked hard and made it difficult for Liverpool at times.

Colback - 7 - A bit of a headless chicken at times, but hard working and good goal.

Sissoko - 6 - Anonymous in 1st half. Reasonable 2nd half. Some good defending and work rate.

Perez - 5 - Just couldn't quite impact the game. Some hard work though.

Cisse - 6 - Terrible first touches messed up some good moves. Should have had a 2nd, but good goal.

    Wijnaldum - 4 - Anonymous.

Mitro - 6 - Controlled some good balls and bullied the defence but couldn't quite make significant impact.

Benitez - 7.5 - Got the lads up for it after a bad start. A bit annoyed that he continues to start Cisse like but he did score so I can't complain. We were solid after the bad start.

Must win our next two games to take us to 36 points

Sunderland (30 Points) ... Have Arsenal and Chelsea at home, but Stoke (Away) Everton (Home) and Watford (away)

Norwich (31 Points) ... Have Arsenal (Away) and Man U (Home), But Watford (Away) and Everton (Home) who again, look ****e

Looks like we'll need something out of the Spurs game which will be very tough,

Here's to hope that Sunderland & Norwich are hopeless for their last few games!

    Eeeek!

Thought Tioté was great again today

Sunderland also have Watford. We need to pray Sunderland slip up on one of their games.

We need to try and beat Palace and Villa by a couple of goals to make our goal difference better .

I think that as it stands our last three games are still must win games. Still too many unknowns with other results at the minute. One game at a time though, as other results could change things for us.

Today was important though. Two bonus points in a week has definitely helped our cause. Just hope this run hasn't come just too late.

We need Sunderland to take a hammering too in one of their games. I don't think that will happen though.

Harsh on Dummett and Wijnaldum and unbelievably generous towards Colback who, despite his goal, was awful and jogged around the pitch standing off his opponent all game long. I'd agree Anita was our best player today.

I sadly see it coming down to GD.

I see the mackems getting another 6pts at least from their last 5. I think we'll win the next two, but Spurs are on great form and we need to hope that Leiecester have already won the title because if Spurs are on a last day push for the title then we're ****ed.

He literally just touched the ball. Not much of an assist really.

Colback - 7 ? yes he scored but did feck all otherwise. So a goal is worth 3 more than an assist?

Pardew is bound to throw the game for you next week, but Palace are still not 100% safe and we SAFC can catch them and will most likely beat Stoke and Watford away and Everton at home, and with defoe and watmore now up front and Kirchoff and Kabul at the back look excellent.

God, if only we got rid of that Ginger **** in January and we would probably not be in this mess.

Sunderland have a better goal difference of us by 8 I think? You never know Arsenal and Chelsea could get a few against them, we win our games and not concede, all before the last day. It might go down to goal difference.

Sunderland and Norwich still favourites to stay up, however if Sunderland lose tomorrow we have a chance.

Sunderland win tomorrow and it's curtains

    It's mighty stressful

Arsenal ManU and Chelsea always win at the end of the season. Arsenal always do their mid season dip to waste whatever shot they had at winning, but they always finish and start strong.

Just to give my best broken record impression.... that Norwich loss... imagine if the mongs of our team would have just gone and wasted 2 minutes down by the corner flag like Leicester does. We'd be out of the relegation zone today.
