When Forster came back we kept six clean sheets in a row. Now it seems we have forgotten what a clean-sheet is. That is now eight games on the trot where we have conceded regardless of the final result.
I suspect Koeman will have a few choice words for them after that goal. We need to step our game up and put this to bed.
Happy to be away from home and winning at halftime... it should feel great but we should be up four goals... 1-2 against this team is underwhelming... really need to sort out our decision making in the final third - this game should be over yet their goal before halftime makes the second half more challenging.

Get Sadio for Jay, I know Jay's a popular figure around here, but he's been fairly anonymous. I actually prefer Martina to Cedric, which only goes to say we need to buy a right back in the summer.
Correct - three players went to cover Ayew, he chipped across the ball and Romeu/Bertrand/Villa striker all got tangled and the ball dropped to Westwood who slotted home.
Think we've been really average in that first half. Villa are worse than terrible, and we've looked complacent. Haven't defended wel either.
Considering how bad these are, that first half was well below par from saints. Hope RK goes mad in the dressing room!
Agree Rodriguez hasn't been great and that Mane should definitely be playing over Rodriguez based on merit, but I'm okay with leaving Rodriguez in as he needs playing time. We are miles better than Villa, just need to stop being stupid at the back. I'm sure RK had a few words to say about that.
Agreed - neither are starting fullbacks. Actually feel on recent form that Martina is playing the better of the two.
We looked like an end-of-season mid-table team with little to play for taking it relatively easy against a very poor, already relegated side.
