    I cannot see SDJ as a left midfielder. For me Cisse is a liability. He loses possession far too often and isn't scoring or even threatening to score. Perez is a striker who has been adaptable enough to go wide left, but for me he should get a chance up front. The ball sticks, he's quick, brings others into play and is a natural finisher. Playing him left has exposed weakness as he's better facing up one on one down the middle than trying to beat 2 or 3 to get to the middle from the wing.

    Wijnaldum is now playing in a different side, one with two hard working midfielders in it, that should help him out but he's also experienced enough to play left and additionally the three attacking midfielders can all chop and change in theory.
