After Burnley's win, Brighton need to win by 6 goals to overtake them. This would set the scene for a good post-match protest.
    Prediction: Charlton 0 Brighton 6.:emoticon-0146-punch:emoticon-0146-punch

Remember when RD tried to justify Carol, by explaining we were 0-2 up against B town and should have won... Huh. Don't care about the game, will probably make the post Match protest.

Just there for the protests today, before, during & after.

More Meire lies have emerged via the players from the Sponsors Dinner - Meire at Charlton is like having a tapeworm stuck up your arse.

Murray deserves both barrels as well today - as if the ****er wants to stay on as chairman should PE and his backers take over. I suppose CARD will have to be renamed CARM in that case.

Even if that is not accurate, the old worm still deserves it.

Incredible that news has emerged that Murray wants to remain as Chairman even if Paul Elliott's crew buy the Club.

Imagine the message that would send out, P.E: "Hi welcome to the start of a fantastic new era at Charlton and by the way...have you met our Chairman?"

Is this guy thick or just beyond arrogant?

Flyng to Dubai today, but it turns out Emirates have free wifi so I will follow the protests. To be honest, the Word is that the Brighton fans have offered a lot of help to protesting Addicks, and they know all about clowns in charge, so I hope we don't go for calling the game off and messing up their promotion push. On the contrary, today is a game where I would probably happily cheer opposition goals to annoy the regime, but....but... most of what comes out of the sponsors night suggests the players know what a colossal disaster RD and KM have been, and while there have been bad performances, let's not forget who the real villains are. Almost every national newspaper has given them both barrels but they are still there and uttering meaningless slogans.
A special aside for former Charlton legend Richard Murray. I actually find this dificult to digest given the last season, but it seems he considers it appropriate to hope to return to some sort of Chairman's position if a takeover occurs. After spending two years prostrate while RD and KM walk up and down all over him (and that is a kind visión of what he has done recently) how he could imagine he would be in any way popular in the directors box under any stewardship, defies belief. Take a look at Mel Baroni Richard. That's how to behave when you are pushed into an impossible position. Not sucking up to katrien Meire the way tyou did at the fans meeting in november.

I really hope the protest isn't ****. Still, throwing stuff on the pitch will be fun and all this "support the team" nonsense is finally gone.

Super will make sure that Paul is well aware of what a massive mistake it would be to keep Dicky at the Club after the takeover

The words damp and squib spring to mind......

Your "protests" will need to multiply many fold to get real traction in the media...... Your infighting on here and on ITV, CL and Twitter indicate you will be hurting each other more than the regime.....

    Ffs prove my opinion wrong.

Of course it will be a let down. It's being co-ordinated by geeks and virgins. Only need to look at previous 'massive' protests.

Good article in the Guardian Sport today on the virus afflicting Charlton and Villa.

[I wouldn't spend 10p on that left wing rag BTW, I read it on line <cheers>]
