Robbo just threw that last frame away ffs,should've been going into tonight 5-4 down now it's 6-3,big difference.He's gonna have to come out tonight,and improve dramatically.He looks so nervous today,some of the pots he's missed haven't been like him at all.Holt's playing very well,and holding up under the pressure,at the moment I fear the worst !
I think Micheal Holt just played his normal game to be honest, Robertson was just dire. The amount of easy balls he missed was unreal, missed a couple of gimmes every frame. And if you give you're opponent a couple of easy starters a frame then your gonna get punished, and that's what happened. If he can find his A game this evening then he can turn it around, hopefully his coach will be able to fix a few things, as he's cueing all over the place currently.
Hadn't backed anything at all for this and Ronnie hasn't impressed me from what I've seen so backed Robertson at 10/1 after I saw he was 6-3 down. Not sure the other contenders are in that great form and Trumps mindset over these marathon matches always seems questionable. Just need him to get past this Holt guy, whose having a fair run of the balls tonight
Gotta be worried for Ronnie already...He escaped with a slap on the wrist for not doing his mandatory post match interview and he did look frustrated and bored with it once more during the game, conceding one frame with just 1 snooker needed! His mind guru will have to work the oracle to have him in a better frame (pun intended) of mind for his next game . Robbo fighting for his Crucible life here...
Well done to Holt,but I'm sorry Robertson was truly awful.I haven't seen him play that poorly ever,it was a disgraceful performance from a man of his quality.He didn't look right from the get-go,maybe something is going on with him off the table,i don't know but I'm in shock at how badly he played.Anyway,Judd gets going tomorrow afternoon,after today's shambles I'm hoping that the Juddernaut can put a smile back on my face!
Totally unbelievable from Liang,first 2 frames and back to back century breaks! All Trumps done is break off,and sat in his chair.Into the 3rd frame and Liang has a pot success of 100% ffs. It's looking like both my boys have run into the two most in form qualifiers going,it's gonna be a mighty effort for Judd to overcome this guy if he continues to play like this!
This is snooker from another planet,Judd's responded brilliantly with 2 clearance's of his own,if it continues like this it will go down as one of the greatest matches of all time!
Liang won't sustain that level for the whole match, he's just started in a purple patch. Judd will still win. As Robertsons now out, my money would be on Selby now.
He's sustaining it at the moment,he's 5-3 up.This last frame of the session is massive,if Trump loses it he's really gonna be up against it.I didn't think Holt would sustain his form over this distance against Robbo,but he did.These players are no mugs and Liang was this season's UK Championship's runner up !

Struggles to get past the mighty Gould and you think Dings a danger Ding is a complete no hoper in the world championships, and has been for years! Despite its popularity It still shows how bad the standard is in China if he's the best they've produced. Will not trouble any of the big guns, as per normal for him.
