percy ? are you really as stupid as you appear ? how about you leaving and taking bullard with you. theres a godd little student boy.
AP can keep goin in his Hull City role during his lunch breaks. The hard work is done almost. Its now time to sit back and let the team do the rest. As Adam P says "ive not looked forward to season more".
He wont let someone else spend 'his money'. He'll be an active owner of Hull FC and he will leave City without any doubt whatsoever.
I agree that his departure is inevitable but what makes you think him going will affect NP? surely the club would appoint someone into Adam's current role to work on recruitment rather than McGuire adding this to his remit?
Percy your boring, you never bring anything new to the forum except your intense hatred for Adam P and Nigel P. Face the facts due to mis-managment by Duffen we were in financial trouble, Phil Brown did what no-one else had done in the clubs history and took us to the Premier League and for the 1st half he was a fantastic manager, but then things went downhill and it was time for a change. Going into November of last season we were struggling and whether that was the fault of the players, the managers tactics I'm not going to say. We then had an upturn in fortunes and we went on a very good run that put us in the top half and yes we blew the chance of play-offs and I can't say I wasn't disappointed about a quick return to the Premier League, but maybe the club wasn't ready for it. This time we've essentially got the same team that played together last season with a few new faces and perhaps we will do it. You don't like Nigel P, fair enough, the bookies have installed him as a favourite to be sacked quickly, if you really give a cr@p about Hull City, then get behind him and the players. Come Xmas and we're rock bottom by all means start slating him but in the pre-season its just rubbish. Oh and as for Jimmy he's been given chances by the management but manages to misbehave, if that were me or anyone else in their place of employment we would have been sacked and gone
Cost cutting. Adam only has that job because of his unique standing in the minds of Hull City fans and after he goes I bet we never appoint another head of football operations. Nigel is only here because of Adam and when the latter goes the writing is on the wall Im afraid.
@Percival. How happy were you when we beat Liverpool 3-0 Were you; A. Ecstatic and still had a smile on your face on Monday morning. B. Very happy and spent ages looking at the goals on YouTube. or C. So over the moon you got pi***d on Saturday night. Was your reaction to the Brady and Koren goals; A. You jumped out of your seat with happiness. B. Filled you with optomism for the new season. or C. Made you bore anyone who would listen with descriptions of how brilliant they were. Finally did you think our defence against Liverpool was; A. Fantastic B. Like a granite wall or C. Virtually impenetrable. OR Were you actually quite depressed by the whole thing?
Jimmy got the train to London half an hour ago, flanked by blokes in suits. Hopefully he's on his way to the Drama Queens for talks. Or he's been arrested by the CIA. Or he's appearing as an extra in Men in Black IV.
i knew i'd seen him on the FBI's Most wanted list. They finally got there man and was its a 1 way ticket
You would pay someone a six figure salary for working lunch breaks only when most of the hard work is done? I could look forward to a football season on that basis. Let me guess, you run your own company and it has a large loyal staff.
As has been mentioned, favourite to leave position does not always mean favourite to be fired. Actually, on the subject of odds. I'll give you a tip, Coral offer Hull at 4/1 to finish above Derby, Brighton, Portsmouth, Bristol and Millwall.
Only just got promoted so in my opinion should do the decent thing and fight a relegation battle finishing lower mid-table at best, just like Leeds and Milwall should have last year. However it seems that in our absence one of the things that has changed in the Championship is that promoted teams are allowed to be as good as everyone else from the beginning, and don't have to bother with 'consolidation' like we had to.
Curious - mind you if you look at the odds for the Premiership, Fergie is more likely to go than Dalgliesh, so I suspect that someone probably threw dice to work those odds out
The odds are likely to change as the season progresses, hell by the end of August it could have changed. I don't see what foundation they have to make NP 2nd favourite to be sacked, we're not a red hot favourite for promotion and we've gone about things quietly over the summer. I agree with you Percy in that we can judge NP more on this season, but i won't be one waiting to jump on his back should we lose/go on a bad run of form. We had poor games last season, we will this, as will any team. He's not the best manager in the world but he isn't as bad as you make out, so leave your Brownie loving behind and back NP for ****s sake.
