There are.. 1) Regular people who state their opinions and are genuine fans of the club, they usually stick to the City board but don't mind a bit of banter 2) A small minority who are in the know & have contacts, over time you realise who they are 3) Some who like to make out they have contacts, give nods and winks but are just forum cock-teasers 4) armitage shankers 5) fans of other clubs usually ok but sometimes also one of the above categories at the same time 6) Lazy sods who rarely contribute, but generally lurk in the background (you've been warned!) 7) Loose canons 8) None of the above but just like the forum any other categories?

I don't know whether you meant this as No.4 but there are probably also several wums who masquerade as City fans. They are either egg-chasers or supporters of other clubs, but you can tell by the way they dwell on negative aspects of the club and take no pleasure from the positives.
I'd be a number 1 but for the fact I use the F1 board quite a lot, agreed there should be a wum/disagreeable category.
If I wanted serious debate would go to church or watch politics shows, this is a good place to hear opinions from fellow fans that you don't get anywhere else.
