No I mean as in communicate watch to phone. I've got a hybrid watch. It looks like a regular watch unless you look close, there is a notification panel in a strip along the bottom of the watch.

Predates Apple watch. Technically it's a notifier watch not a smart watch. Its handy in meetings where I can't pull my phone out to see who is bugging me. I only look at it when I get a notification. It has a few other features like "find my phone", "take photo with phone", etc, but I use it mostly for notifications. I leave volume on phone off and often don't hear it vibrate on the desk. On my wrist I can't miss my notifications. Looks like a regular watch though so I don't look too dorky. I don't like smart watches that look like clunky computers on your wrist.
The iwatch look is the seriously most dorky look of all. The fitbit or go pro fitness stuff is a statement of lifestyle My companys fat CEO has an iwatch and frankly its embarrassing as we MAY have a device he should be wearing. Overall... I can see the attraction in a business setting to be seeing al lthe tags from not606 while some accountant drones on but I do not think the additional cancer risk is worth it.
