I hope Squire does it for you boys but you have a very interesting rival in QUEEN’S NOVEL. The barn have recently been entering her in Listed races (hasn’t taken up these engagements) and in her sole race to date, last October, she beat the Andrew Balding trained Ballynanty by 1.75 lengths (receiving just her 5 lbs sex allowance). Ballnanty is now perched on 100. Queen’s Novel races of the morrow off just 79. On a literal reading of formlines she could be thrown in. Hope Squire obliges though. Maybe this pair for the Forecast. The one who interests me most tomorrow though, on the level, is Sir Michael’s ULYSSES (5.10 Leicester) by a Derby winner out of an Oaks victor he has the lineage to go to the very top.
There are a couple of dangers lurking in the four year olds but it will take a good un to beat us tomorrow
I am going to Limerick races tomorrow so if anyone has any strong fancies on the card feel free to share
Go on Squire my son. Best of luck lads, hopefully we see ya's in post race winners enclosure interview
Best of luck with Squire gents! What's the ground look like over at Haydock? I think it'll take a good animal to beat him tomorrow but his chance will come!
Good luck tomorrow Stick - I agree with you that those four year olds look very dangerous and you just have no way of knowing what you are up against, I think Higher Power may well take the race and prove a horse going places but I have no doubt Squire will make him work for it, and if he and the other unexposed one Queens Novel are not yet battle hardened they may not fancy slugging it out with your fella who we know wont stop if challenged. A place at the very least for you tomorrow in my view.
The very best of luck with Squire today chaps Lovely card at Sandown, for once a fitting end to the jumps season
All the best with Squire guys, if my Sprinter Sacre/Vroum Vroum Mag double comes in I might invest a bit of the winnings on Squire
Good luck with Squire, you will be glad to know not a sheckle of mine is on the horse!!! Haydock 140 Daphne 245 Golden Glimmer 355 Moueen Sandown 220 Voix Du Reve 255 Valseur Lido 335 Sprinter Sacre Leicester 250 Il Sicario 325 Du Moto 400 Home of the Brave Singles doubles and a treble at each meeting!! Happy punting!
16:30 Haydock - Im Dapper Too (This gelding, a distance winner in 2015 and trained by Darlington trainer John Davies, has fair form overall. Season pipe-opener over a mile at Southwell in March should have sharpened him up. He'll do for my Saturday punt). Good luck all, and the very best of luck to Squire!
Great end to the jumps season today. Think Nicholls will win and spring a surprise or 2 today. 2.20 - Tommy Silver - Think he has been let in leniently here when you consider Clan Des Obeaux is rated 6 pounds higher for half a length in the Triumph. I have a free channel 4 bet from last week so will be throwing that on Darebin, the Moores excel at this track and had a couple winners yesterday so yard looking good. 2.55 - Saphir Du Rheu - Frustrating this year for sure, generally a sound jumper and gets the blinkers first time up to help him concentrate - these have worked wonders for other Nicholls horses such as S Conti. Theres no doubting he has talent and i think this race over over an extended 22f would be absolutely spot on for him. 3.35 - Dodging Bullets - Would be delighted to see Sprinter go and smash them all again especially given ground conditions, think Dodging will get much closer this time though. he looked a tired/labored horse in the champ chase and he should strip much fitter this time out. 4.10 - The Young Master - He has been crying out for a staying trip for some time over fences and he finally gets it today, think Nicholls' Just A Par will go close again after winning last year with the very capable Harry Cobden taking off 5lbs. 4.45 - Ptit Zig - Think hes completely under estimated for this 1, VVM has to give weight to him. He was a very good hurdler rated 159 at his peak and has done well chasing also but seemed to have lost his way after 2nd to Vatour. He ran a nice ran behind Thistlecrack in the cleeve and back down a couple furlongs should suit him perfectly. 5.20 - As De Mee 5.55 - Bellow Mome Placepot will be - 2 / 8 1 / 2 1 / 4 13 / 15 4 2 / 6 32 lines
