Dunno re chelsea...pride is a weird thing...we ain't won their since I was 21....I am now 49! Those players do not want to be the first Chelsea team in 27 yrs to lose at home to spurs! Southampton are a good team so that will be really tough imo...Bizarrely we ain't beat wba at home in over 6 yrs! And Newcastle could well need points for survival on the last day of the season...think all games are gonna be tough from here on in! I hope it goes to the last game of the season and would love us to win out...like you lot spurs fans never expected to have a chance of winning the title but you lot have been the most consistent side...that 6 match winning run without conceding and your last minute draw yesterday has won it for you ...like I said , I hope I am wrong but if you gave me second place in August I would have snatched your arm off!
Cesc Fabregas has been talking tonight how he doesnt want Chelsea to win the league he wants us to Chelsea still have a massive say in the title with both us and Spurs still to go to the Bridge Lets hope John Terry does his old mate Claudio some favours
For me Spurs are massive favourites now. They won't drop a point and to be totally honest, I can't see us getting the 8 we need....
A 5 point lead is massive with 4 games to go...I get how nervous you must be cos I would be expecting the worse if spurs were in your position but there is no way we are massive favourites and imo we will drop points at Chelsea and Southampton at least...mind you ... I am a good person so here's hoping you're right!
If we do fall over the line it will be because we managed 8 points not due to you dropping any points. Once you score once teams seem to be losing confidence and rolling over such as Bournemouth, Man U and Stoke. It's probably because your players go for it rather than settling for 1-0. As we found last season, it's far easier to be the chasing team rather than the one they are trying to catch. And with goal difference it's really 4 points
Interesting point, ive wondered this for a while, if it came down to the last game and a win will see Leicester champions, Chelsea may just roll over, theres less humiliation for them if a club outside London wins it. Fabregas has already said that he doesn't want Spurs winning and it could come down to him and his team to decide that on the last day of the season. Conspiracy theories aplenty if we won it that way!
He didn;t get the ban for the dive it was for what ahppened afterwards, there was a photo of him I think on the BBC, snarling and threatening the ref, that picture is probably what got the ban. the ref was awful but Huth does nothing but foul anyone near him during corners and throw himself theatrically to the floor. It's the typical behaviour of anyone who has played for Pulis.
Yup that it - apparently he might get 1 match ban for swearing at the ref and another for taking too long to leave the field. Will work in the movie - comes back for the last game and scores a hat trick to redeem himself and win the league
ALL this has come about because Moss never called a penalty in favour of Vardy when he was grabbed and tripped in the box .........soon as Vardy dove , after the penalty , the dive was front and center on the refs mind and it all unraveled all the way to this . Watch the replay , grabbed and tripped .
I'm still annoyed that Reid didn't get charged for diving - he got grabbed and pulled backwards but fell forwards?
BBC reporting that the club accept a charge for not controlling players as well. Will just be a one match ban and a token fine like Costa/Chelsea and Gabriel/Arsenal got then.
Vardy has requested a personal hearing to try and explain his actions He will probably get an extra match but if he pleads his case then the FA could still drop the charge or issue a fine instead Hopefully Roy Hodgson can influence them. No one wants to see Vardy suspended, If Tottenham do overhaul us then fairplay but no one wants a "it wouldnt have happened if Vardy didnt get suspended" scenario
Vardy accepts FA charge Jamie Vardy will not contest an FA charge of improper conduct given to him after his red card against West Ham. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ardy-will-not-contest-fa-charge-of-improper-c
Lennon was abit of a dirty so & so. Remember it well, felt sorry for Alan that day. No room in football for headbutter of studs. Giving us a bad name...
I've seen the highlights of Arsenal v West Brom on Sky Sports Hq this mornings. Couple of clear dives by Arsenal players but not according to Me Consistency Jon Moss!
... very true ... unfortunately raw emotion is getting in the way of rational thought ... Vardy has been excellent ... buts so have the rest and we have plenty of attacking threat in the side ... time for strong characters, steady heads, determination and, most of all, belief ...
