Played Chester for the first half v Arsenal at left back. What a ****wit. Now subbed for the start of the second.
he wants to play for wales in the euros. i hope the wales manager isn't stupid enough to leave him out for not playing often enough.
He's started 9 of the last 10 league games. Pretty sure most at left back. Crazy, but this is the man who played Robert Huth at right back.
They were protesting at their lack of a challenge for the PL title. http://metro.co.uk/2016/04/21/unhap...-seats-turn-up-heat-on-arsene-wenger-5833026/
It must be so hard comfortably finishing 3rd in the Premier League and guaranteeing Champions League football next season, I often wonder how they cope poor buggers.
Interesting to see the official attendance was just over 59,500 only 900 short of full capacity. Obviously count pass holders even though they don't attend.
You do realise the irony of that when MUCH bigger clubs than us see so many of our fans presently pissing their pants and calling for the manager's head when lying fourth in the Championship?
I didn't realise that, I always thought clubs would minimise their attendance figures to under declare turnover figures in order to minimise profits.
Only Hull FC apparently as their fans have regularly claimed they get bigger crowds than the figure published what with it being a rugby city and all that. What you describe may have happened back in the days of cash and turnstiles but not now with top clubs being all ticket games. How could they get away with it nowadays?
When they played us in the FA Cup final the poor souls had had to endure 9, yes nine barren years - trophy less. Poor ****ers.
I'd guess there's a safety element too. If a seat is sold, they'd have to assume it is filled, and have stewards, access and egress issues managed accordingly.
