What speaks volumes is your delusions, and absolute glee in getting top 4, because you know, who needs league titles? It's all about top 4. WE ARE ARSENAL. HAHA.
You know a match, and season, is pointles when the standard of match day thread posting is as it is on here.
It's quite remarkable how few Arsenal fans care about the remaining games. Speaks volume about the general apathy surrounding the club. Some may still continue to go to games because they love the club too much, but it won't change how they truly feel about the direction we're headed in.
Not considering how the big teams around us collapsed and the way that we drew too many games and lost cheap games at Utd and Swansea at home in particular. Overall it's a fairly disappointing season given the context that we probably could have won the league this season. The fact that we beat Leicester twice showed that we could have done it too. Finishing in the top 4 is still an achievement, but given the context of the season, for us it's disappointing.
Is it, or is this the actual level you can expect? No disrespect but I don't really remember the last time Arsenal were considered one of the power house teams of the league. Hell, even Fergie in his twilight years as manager just didn't care about the mind games with Wenger any more.. I wonder if Fergie took pity on Wenger?
I'll give IQ some credit, he is at least consistent in his hatred of Wenger, and doesn't find solace in some meaningless win at the arse end of the season.
It's clear to me. If I was in london id still go to the game despite how sickened I am by the bottle job we did. And it is because of a love of the club and tbh they make some pretty good burgers outside
Arsenal vs Villa on the last day might actually go down as the most meaningless game in the history of epl and 2 sets of fans who could not care less and very frustrated with the state of their clubs.
