I don't remember which game it was . But FF was going full speed towards the rookery goal, defender dives in FF cant stop im thinking ,Yes we have a penalty then the ref books FF . Only because of what the ref has heard about FF passed . He could not have stopped the defender did not get the ball should he have taken the wack and be out for 6 months ?
I think that's a bit harsh H. I know he left us for a better gig, but if you read The Tales from The Vic, he was also treated very shabbily by the then owners. Also reading between the lines, there was something very shady about that whole mobile phone episode. I hope he gets a job soon as I think he has the making of being a decent manager.
I think he was at least partly set up..... and have a lot of respect for him for what he did with us...
i can't imagine what would have stitched him up over 'phonegate'...and it wasn't that he went to a 'bigger' club. He tried to empty our club of most of our players, and poached a fair few of those we were about to buy. To me, that's all water under the bridge but the man showed his true colours with 'phonegate' and now he is reaping what he sowed. Harsh maybe, but i have no time for him and was shocked at the support he got from a fair few at the 'Tales from the Vic' evening. However, i was glad to see i wasn't the only person in the audience who felt that he shouldn't have been given stage space.
Apologies if this has been posted earlier - I've only just stumbled across it. An interesting article about The Iceman. https://www.66north.com/whats-on/striker-at-sea/
Not convinced that the pictures portray an accurate depiction of life in the North Sea though. Humble man. Good to know.
Probably gave up football after we battered Grimsby 7-1. He tried hard but obviously hadn't a football brain.
Not an ex player of course - infact it seems Vydra will be back with us next season. Having a bit of a nightmare season at Reading - real confidence player.
Normally, I don't pay much attention to Old Firm games, but I hope Rangers win this weekend because of Mark Warburton. Unfortunately, a player who is a former Hornet misses out due to injury: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36039862
Certainly could be a good leader... http://www.harriers.co.uk/news/arti...-of-coaching-3073176.aspx#ItEj5y9bEqb0EoLR.99
Nigel Gibbs wins a payout of £331,426 for unlawful dismissal from Leeds Utd. Massimo Cellino really is an owner who just keeps on giving.
Dyche looking strong to bounce straight back up, no mean feat IF they do it! http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/championship/table They play away at Charlton on the last day, with 2nd and 3rd place Middlesborough and Brighton facing each other on the last day...
We will never hear the end of it if we did change manager and performed badly next season whilst Dyche and his Burnley side had a solid season...
