For me it isn't money. It is two things. Key things. Having your seat. A seat you have kept for years. Having your friends around you and the Social aspect. This will force people to move and will ruin the stability. Knowing where I belong in a ground matters. I don't want to be somewhere new all the time. If I boycott I have lost my place. I'm torn.
do you all really make friends with the people around you? I sat in the same seat for 10 years, surrounded by the same people, and only ever spoke to my brother and his mate. mind you, I wait in the house until my next door neighbour goes back inside before I go out,
Nothing I say is on behalf of the Trust, so it can't be in any way confusing. As for posting it in the first place, I'll post anything I like, ta.
I agree with you Filey. But as i keep putting Tom's poll shows 30-40% i think are renewing. Do you remember when the council did free school meals? It got stopped cos of all the moaning bastards, I havent got kids or I've had my kids, why should i subsidise other peoples kids. THis scheme plays to the selfish. If we have a lot of them, and we may, then we're in trouble.
People will do what suits them! Some have openly said they've not had a pass this year but will become a member this year! If I move just one block I'll save a few hundred quid with my family! BUT something sticks in my throat about these ****s! At this minute in time I'm thinking **** em! You just don't pick on the oldies! It wasn't long ago they had that old fella on the front of the renewal packs who'd been going since year dot! Couldn't make it up.
I would have thought the trust would have learned from past mistakes, where people tried to make themselves synonymous with the trust, and there was a lack of clarity in who said what, and what was personal opinion and what was 'official'. Geoff is a good appointment. Keeping the trust message clear, by posting their views clearly and separate from individuals, could help the dip in numbers recover and give Geoff a better chance.
Family first spend the money you will save on them, the club is what you follow does not matter an inch who agree's with the owners or likes what they do christ most of the fans do not like each other or agree with each other so who gives a ****. Save the money for your family mate.
Its cheaper for me Mr Shoes I would have rather they charged me more for my pass It so important that young people can get into the stadium. Just like we all did as kids. Im going to lob my membership brochure onto the pitch Im sick of the empty seats near me as it without there being more Club should give tickets for free to schools and local footy clubs 8000 empty seats......and they come up with this idea !! All i can think is its being done out of spite Mr posative thats me There are NO posatives in this Its the worst thing any owner has done in my opinion Locking pensioners and young fans out of the stadium . I would not renew if i was offered a free pass. It really is about us all and our clubs future on my oponion If you truely love Hull City You should boycott this scheme for the future of everyone Of course if you dont thats your choice Ya ****ing ****ers
I don't know what you mean. We posted the release and made it available widely. We didn't care who posted it on not606 - although if no one did I would have done. I think on this thread it's quite clear that there's no Trust comments other than that on the link.
It's a **** position to be in and a hard decision to make, especially as the social aspect and seat move elements seem to keep being marginalised, despite being something a lot of people mention.
Are you really doing this again? The Trust's statement is on its website, published by the Trust. Any people commenting on this thread are speaking for themselves, whether they are trust members, trust board directors, former trust board directors, whoever. It really is that simple.
Is it? It's pretty much the same issues that cropped up previously, and that coincided with a drop in members. I would have thought the trust would want their message to be clearly from them, voicing their views. If you don't see where the possible confusion comes from sitting back and leaving it to others, don't be surprised if you're having to defend comments and positions they haven't made.
Aye, I'm surprised. I thought lessons had been learned. It'll be good if it stays that clear. It certainly didn't in the past, and as that showed, it's not as simple as separating a username from their position in the trust. I guess time will tell, as they say.
Based on the quotes (on the link) 100% of respondents aren't happy with this, I know for a fact this isn't true as I know people who have filled the survey in and are happy with the pricing the membership scheme. I know it's quite selfish of them as they're only thinking of themselves and not the children or OAP's. But that is why I asked the original question, as results can be publish the benefit of the people starting them.
