    To be fair, last summer Spurs were more-or-less us, but with more cash to spend on wages. I hate to admit, but this coming summer they will have champions league football and maybe a premier league title so they are a viable team to go to...and not just for the money.

    I feel dirty now saying that.

    So in keeping with the happy clappy, super trouper thread, I think the Villa game will launch our European bid and help us achieve the highest finish and highest points total yet <party>

    Not sure Victor's really earned his big move this season. One magnificent performance as a sub vs Liverpool against 3 red cards and quite a few indifferent games, leaves him leaning toward the debit side of the ledger imo.

    Agreed. Has not had a good season for us. If he wants to move on and we get a +20M (seeing how we paid 12M - would like to see some return) - that would be fine with me. To be honest however - I am not sure he is good enough for Spuds (much as I hate to admit this) and think they could do with someone who is more quick witted and pacier in that holding role because he tends to slow down free flowing breakaways - so someone like Morgan would be a better option for them...
