I feel sorry for the poor lady involved. Presumably she'll have to go on the stand at the retrial. Whether he is innocent or not (and, yes, innocent until proved guilty) to have taken photos and joked about it makes him a nasty piece of work in my opinion ......
I see that Mitsubishi have come out and stated that they've falsified fuel economy tests. Is that the first honest statement from any car manufacturer over fuel ecomony, performance, etc..? Also, recent Which tests have found that 95% of diesel cars fail the NOx pollution limits out on the open road, and 10% of petrol do so too. One car, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, emitted 15 times as much NOx as the Euro 5 limit. 65% of petrol cars emitted more CO [note, not CO2] than 2006 limits allow. Good to see Ched Evans has got a retrial. "Beyond reasonable doubt" wasn't, IMO, satisfied in his original trial.
Shame rape cases are so hard to prove "beyond reasonable doubt" 99% of the time. Hopefully in the future something gets invented that can help rape victims and the falsely accused get justice. Rape victims are still not given enough help during and after a trial.

My newspaper today is full of photos of some German woman and her Greek partner and all of their extended family living a life of bloody luxury on state hand outs. This has convinced me to vote for Brexit. We can then send them back where they came from and let their own countries pay for their upkeep. I am going to post this on the politics thread.
