Well, the bloke has had his conviction quashed, will they name, shame and imprison the female who knowingly lied and ****ed a load of tax-payers money up the wall so she could sue for compensation?

He will have a re trial, so if found Innocent, I expect him to sue all the people who tried to stop him from working.

The guy has been treated appallingly. Even if guilty, he served his time and still the witchunters wouldn't let him go and legally pursue his profession.

Is there some new law that says if your a pro footballer that once you're convicted of any crime that you're not allowed to play football ever again?

I hope the guy sues the nuts off everybody in sight!.

I doubt there's enough evidence to convict the female of perjury, so I imagine it will be left at that.

She claimed she couldn't remember what happened, so her testimony didn't convict him

It's those who brought the case form the coppers to the CPS who should be questioned. As I've said from the off, that this case never would have gone beyond the desk Sergeant if he'd have been a plumber from Rhyl

It went through the process due his status as a footballer, and that's fundamentally wrong.

"So run this past me again, you went to a hotel room willingly with a bloke who you then shagged, then you woke up the next morning and couldn't remember if his mate had shagged you as well, as you were rat arsed?"

If she cant remember she cant have given consent, thats what got Ched convicted.
So I guess he has evidence to contrary.

Being unable to remember doesn't mean that you were too intoxicated to consent at the time, necessarily.
They'd have convicted McDonald too, if that was the case.

She consented to him earlier in the night, so he was innocent.

He was convicted on flimsy evidence

I've been so drunk and woken up after being fondled - and thought 'get in'.

I don't get what the issue is personally.

Maybe he should have bought her a nice watch first.

You can't consent earlier on in the night. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

She doesn't remember what happened and McDonald (the other bloke) was on trial.
