I've seen a couple of references in recent days to him using the word "cheating" as well. If that's the case, it's 3 games minimum.

Roy's idiocy knows no bounds. You'd think with a major tournament coming he'd want players to learn to keep it buttoned, not encourage ranting at referees. Particularly, given that his employer's Respect Policy to guide young players states:

    Players must:

    • Play fairly – I won’t cheat, dive, complain or waste time
    • Respect my team-mates, the other team, the referee or my coach/manager
    • Play by the rules, as directed by the referee
    • Be gracious in victory and defeat – I will shake hands with the other team and referee at the end of the game

    Referees must

    • Deal with all instances of violence, aggression, unsporting behaviour, foul play and other misconduct
    • Never tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour from players and team officials.

I will say I'm genuinely surprised a number of Leicester fans (and Woy) are defending Vardy. Yes the impossible dream has got them a load of neutral fans and people want to see them do well but you can't go cheating in a game AND abuse an official when caught and expect to get off scot-free.
Admittedly his first booking was debatable, the grounds of sliding in from an angle can be deemed reckless but contact was made seconds later in which it didn't do any damage other than tripping the West Ham player, though saying that, 4 or 5 of Dier's 9 yellows this season have been soft so it's not as if Vardy has been the only one on the harsh end of a yellow - there are countless other players who've been hit with soft yellows too - what Vardy stupidly done is try and cheat his way to a penalty when already on a booking, the idiot was caught and dealt with, there can really be no arguments and it looks foolish to say otherwise.

The first yellow was for persistent fouling, not just the one incident. He'd made a worse, but similar, foul just before this

More interesting will be the penalty box panto in the next Leicester game.
Twas notable that in the Stoke game such antics were near non-existent.

But old Huthball habits die hard.
If I was Man Utd, I would have shirts prepared that tear to shreds if you
pull away when somebody has grabbed them. :)

Then there you go, further reason as to why there can be no complaints.

Amazes me that Huth has avoided a red this season. He's had a great season don't get me wrong but how referees have failed to spot his antics is beyond a joke. Could easily have had two reds from just some of the games I've seen.

If Vardy has abused the referee to the extent that has been reported then he deserves the 1 game ban that Gabriel and Costa have received earlier this season. Nobody is questioning that.

However, the first yellow card is absolutely not a foul and the second is highly debatable.

One instant where he booted the ball at Wilson's head when Wilson was grounded after a foul earlier in the season, only got yellow carded for that. Someone called for action to be taken after the game but as the ref booked Huth with the yellow, no other action could be taken.

Can't remember the opposition side but he's tugged and grappled the guy to the ground from a corner when already on a yellow and the ref's missed it. Even against West Ham he literally performed a wrestling style manoeuvre on a West Ham player. He's been doing the grappling since his Stoke and Boro days though so it's nothing new. Great defender but he's a dirty bastard.

The second is definitely not debatable, the guy has cheated to try and earn a penalty. His whole body suddenly moves in Ogbonna's direction despite the defender not actually making a tackle and then goes down like a sack of potatoes, then has the audacity to raise his hands as if he'd been fouled and gave the ref a bollocking once he was sent off.

The first as I said was soft but countless players get bookings for those and similar fouls, 4 or 5 of Dier's this season shouldn't have been bookings but that's **** refereeing for you. Though as SD did mention it was also for persistent fouling.

<laugh> ... you Spuds do seem to have rather short memories about conning penalties against the Spammers ...

Overreaction Theatre: Dive Talkin - how Harry Kane missed the memo about young English players not diving

Harry Kane went down very, very easily to win the penalty that have Tottenham a 2-2 draw against West Ham on Sunday.

Hello! Hello! That was 26 years ago <laugh> Very few of our current team were even born.

Your one eyedness continues. Why do you want to spoil the position you are in with a refusal to see what is in front of your face. You'll be telling me that Mr Huth is misunderstood Mr Nice Guy next.
Your bullshit may go down well on the Leicester board but this is the Spurs board and you'll need to up your game a bit. <laugh>

Since when have any of us "Spuds" (<laugh> can't believe a grown adult still calls us that, bravo you legend) defended Klinsmann's diving?

Klinsmann had a well earned reputation as one of the 'worst' divers in Europe when he arrived, but if you can find footage of him diving in our shirt in the premier league (except in ironic celebration) I will be very surprised.
