I'm a bit lost at the moment not sure where to start. I took an outpost and am sneaking around a village trying not to get seen.

He doesn't need to, last night proved he knows how to be on a pitch for 90 minutes and avoid playing any football

The only time I noticed him in the 2nd half was when he tried to go in studs up when our players were doing a bit of keep-up but he was too slow

    1. Exceptional performance from us

    2. Constant improvement across the board

    3. All our team turned up and played with passion

    4. Everton were poor and we made them look even worse

    5. Disgraceful, pre-meditated foul from that horrible **** - should get 6 games

    6. Gutted for Origi. He was blossoming so wonderfully

Not a bad game to go to... was more of a regular a few years back, but work and family restricted trips..
Was able to get to it yesterday.. superb performance, didn't think a team could play quite as badly as they did, esp. in a derby..
Other than a couple of attempts off breaks in the first half, they did the sum total of sod all..
Stopped them playing out from the back, made them lump it long, which Lovern and Sakho dealt with..
When they did try to play out from the back, the press didn't let them do so, made them lump it long in the end..
Their wingers weren't great going forward and didn't help their FBs defensively either..
Loved the way were have the players now that can mix it up with the odd long pass or retain possession and move the opposition around.

Only gripe (I'm channelling my inner Jimmy!) with all those attempts we should have scored more..
A case in point, the first chance we had, if Lallana had looked up, he'd have seen Firmino unmarked and free, a simple pass would have left him with an open goal.
Snatched a few chances in both halves, their goalie mad a few saves, to be honest, if it wasn't for him, they would have conceded 7/8+

Biggest issue for us was the injury to Origi, nasty challenge, he's not broken his ankle but he's most likely don't some ligament damage, if so, he's out for the rest of the season and most likely Euro's, such a shame and will be a big loss to us.. do hope its nothing more than bruising but the pics don't look encouraging!
Biggest issue for Everton, not being clever after the event, said this before, but why, when you've got a massive Semi-Final in a few days, a chance of a Pot and Europe, would you risk playing all the big guns, he did and look what happened, injury to Barry, Stones went off sick and the other idiot CB got suspended..
He really is a BRodge lite is Bobby Martinez!

Good to see the improvement we've made under Klopp, not going to get carried away, Newcastle will be harder to beat due to the fact they they have Rafa, who's able to setup a side to defend, will have to be vary of them on the counter but if we play as good as yesterday then we should get a +tive result.
Villareal game will also be another tough affair, but, if we can nab an away goal like we did against Dortmund, then we'll give ourselves a chance..!

Loved last night ,apart obviously from that cheap shot by Mori, everyone was on their game and clearly the whole team are buzzing at the moment.
On Everton i'm sure i have never witnessed such a gutless performance from either team as they put in last night. Martinez lost his job last night as he has clearly lost the dressing room and no manager survives that.
I knew their results had been poor and Tobes had been going mad about Mr Brown Shoes but i hadn't seen them live for a couple of months and jeez no wonder he has been doing his nut that was like us against Stoke last season

This is the reailty guys... If you look back we've never quite got going this year.

    Block 6 killed us

    Arsenal H 3-3
    Manchester United H 0-1
    Norwich A 5-4
    Leicester A 0-2

The loss to utd was poor, the loss the leicester was avoidable as leicester did nothing til vardy did that goal

    even the last block

Southampton A 2-3. we were 2-0 up. we could be within 3 point of Arsenal in 4th as a result

Right now thats why we are 7th, just didn't quite get going for many reasons... but right now... we are ticking along great.

unfortunately the injury list is long.

    Can
    henderson
    Origi

    then
    benteke
    skertl
    ings
    gomez

We have got to get by now without any more midfield injuries. Milner, lucas, allen thats it in europe and we add stewart in league.

Add in a League cup final to this picutre and its and almost season... we are almost having a good season but the semi final offers hope as does a grand stand finish

    Newkie
    Swansea
    watford
    chelsea
    westbrom

only newkie give a toss what happens in those games... we would need to win all 5 to have any chance of getting top 5. top 6 is on though and we need to get by west ham for that.

yes we are a great example to them.

lose the semi and just fire him. start the recruitment process now. don't wait, don't prevaricate.

My big, well not big but huge worry is that a certain striker prone to injury picks one up now. That would be a huge problem.

I think we could have only signed Klopp when we did..
If we got rid of the BRodge at the end of last season (which we should have done..) then we may not have got Klopp, at the time, he was adamant that he wasn't going to take another job and wanted to take some time off..
If we approached him then, I think he'd have said no, and should we have moved on from BRodge, we'd have ended up with another sub-par manager.
It was as the say Destiny to get Klopp when we did..
The owners now have a manager that players here would run through brick walls for and players who aren't here that would love to come and play for..
If (big IF for now) we manage to win the EL and get Champions League, then win that, Klopp's pull and lets be honest, we're still seen as a big name in European/World football, we should be able to attract that next level of footballer than can hopefully take us up a notch or three and then, more importantly, keep us there!
