I'm not so sure. Even the fans on here would probably want him gone even with the cup. @Tobes ??? The simple fact is he can't handle a league campaign. It's Wigan all over again, when it shouldn't be.
The question is: would the fans have preferred a 7-10 place (realistically ) to a FA cup trophy? There is no question of relegation. Is the CL really an expectation even with the current squad ?
cl is prob pushing it, but they would have thought they was good enough for a europa place (whether they wanted to be in it is a dif matter), cup always wins for me, what being a fan is all about.
I agree a trophy is a very good season no question. It goes further than that though. The way they play has been terrible, his interviews have been like Rodgers. He's just pissed all the fans off - that's probably the main reason. Another season with 'Brown Shoes' would be painful for any Everton fan, surely?
