Before anyone else reminds me, I wanted Martinez when we got rid of Kenny (unfairly). I think his footballing instincts are good. Sad to see him reduced to this, but if the BS are getting money this summer they need to get rid in the summer.

Sorry Jimmy but your assessment of players and what actually goes on in the game is about as good as Astro's, a total joke.

Actually I remember the whole debate...you weren't the only one when those photos came out that said "I'd rather have Martinez Than BR"

Think they both are good coaches...just step too far to "Manager"...especially to the clubs they went to.

At least they tried to live up to the clubs they were at however naively....

Compared to the smug bastard in the studio who wallowed in mediocrity..and the England manager happy to swim beside him...

Yup I agree. Everton were playing hugely deep and a couple times they brome but to say over run is hilarious.

    We tracked back.

Yeah, I agree with Jimmy over a lot ot things, but I thought Milner was our MOTM tonight. Everywhere - but Jimmy's right that we played with a two man midfield and one of them was further up that the three supposedly behind the striker. It worked out well tonight and against Dortmund, but I get the eebie jeebies when we play Lallana and Coutinho AND Firmino. Should have played Allen from the start and benched Lallana imo. But what the hell - 4-0 against the ****e will do.

I thought Lallana played well bar his finishing. As result, he distracted the Everton defence and created room for others.

    She on Allen playing though

Everton were always in for a hiding, but they barely turned up tonight. Could have and should have been 6 or so.
Disgusted at the tackle and really sad for Origi, we need him.

I don't know what Allen needs to do to get a start... guy's been very good when he's played last month or two. Thought Klopp would love him for his pressing abilities as well.

I thought Lallana was very good. Yeah he missed the simpl chance early on, and should have probably passed to Firm, but the movement he showed to get into that position, to get the chance for the header and the one behind that Stones blocked were all very good.

On the ball he was great, kept it simple but also beat his man a few times with a swivel to create space.

He should have had at least 1 goal or an assist and if he did he'd have bene my MOTM. SAid earlier, if he can add an end product on a consistent basis and continue playing like he is at the moment then he'll be a very good option for us.

Hope Origi is alright, must have been / currently be ****ing painful that. Heard it's 'badly sprained' - season over for him I reckon, if it's severe could be a couple of months before he can even think about light training and exercises

What is it with our luck with strikers ... all the **** with Sturridge, finally Origi starts firing 5 in 5 and he goes and gets ****ing near crippled

Karma will get that blueshite **** Mori in its own sweet time ... what a sad little prick he is

That was a proper dicking for them though, as majestic as we were they were embarrassing
