How can he be "getting carried away with the emotion of the derby"

There hadn't been a tackle all game, let alone any bad ones. Not like the derby's of years ago where Gerrard & Carra were storming into tackles and crowd were getting heated etc.

Was as tame a derby as I can remember to be honest... even in the 4-0 a few years ago they put up a bit more of a fight

Martinez was fair about the red card. Basically said it's Mori's fault for making the challenge

    Lol oh I can.

Lucas and Milner were completely overrun in CM. Barkley and Miralles ran right through them in the first half.

Lucas had little to do in the second half and was hardly tested. For the goal, he does well to win the ball back and you'd expect him to make that pass.

Milner put in 2 great crosses but not much else.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "I would like to say yes, I am delighted, but the injury to Divock Origi has cost me some joy. The first half was a derby, it was wild from Everton, not patient enough. We could have played better but scored two goals.

"The second half the game changed completely, they had no chance any more. It's really great I would like to say but I cannot ignore this situation.

"I can't say too much about Origi but they say it is disgusting, awful pictures. But it's not broken, it is a twisted ankle, he is on crutches walking around so we will have to see.

"Beating Everton is a special thing."

Slabbering aside...it really always is sad to see a manager do an interview broken...knowing he's ****ed...no matter whether he deserves to go or not...

At the start of the season I bet Everton would have been chuffed to be one place behind Chelsea with 4 games to go.
    Mic in Oldham.

    Oh Jimmy, lighten up.

None of us are slagging off Moreno when he wasted about 3 chances by smashing it over the bar!

Just say they played well and be happy <diva>

It happens, but as said, it was the badge thing as he was going off that got me. He KNEW then he'd injured him. Players do sometimes get hurt in derbies, but that action in the end was despicable.

    Nonetheless, COYB on saturday.

    Neither did Moreno.
Had Flanno been playing would have been 6-0 as he wouldn't have put 3 chances over the bar, instead would have made 3 assist <whistle>
