Navas is always **** and he's an absolute fanny, I've never seen him have a good game, he just blows every good opportunity. On another day, Aguero's goal gets disallowed, Sissoko buries that chance, Wijnaldum scores and City get a battering off relegation fodder, they were very lucky to get a point last night, but take nowt away from Newcastle, Benitez has got them playing now. Watching the build up, that young lad Lascelles, what a fantastic attitude he's got, had no issues throwing Shelvey under the bus, he said he wasn't there to make friends. Interesting end to the season I think at that end.
Too little too late. Rafa has revived us as we all knew he would. He had to come in much sooner though. In 2 seasons time, we will be league one fodder! Happy ****ing days!
You're just a wierdo, and not a real fan What you mean is "in 2 seasons time we will be Premier League Champions"
Those **** munchers (the ones on this board ) always pull something out the bag. I'm being negative in the hope that if I'm wrong, I'm delighted. If I'm right, then I'm mentally prepared anyway and I won't slit my wrists.
Huge point last night, if you're 3 points off safety, a win doesn't always guarantee it because of G/D. Maybe the skip divers will do uncle Rafa a favour this weekend. Spurs also isn't that much of a scary game last game, if they're genuinely fighting for the chance to win the league on the last day, the pressure is absolutely immense, if you're fighting for safety, the atmosphere and the everything will play a part. A long way to go yet, for all 3 teams scrapping. Thankfully, Rashford put the final nail in Villa's coffin so we can all rest easy that they won't be hanging around this league like a bad stink for much longer.
Not the result we all wanted but taking a positive slant Newcastle have used up one of their three home games and are still behind us, our game in hand at the weekend is now more massive than before last night, three points for us( and that isn't going to be easy bearing in mind our record against the Gunners at our place) then Newcastle HAVE to win two out of four and hope we don't pick up any more points which is unlikely. Norwich I feel at this moment are the poorest out of the three of us and could struggle to pick up another four points which means we win two from five would see us safe. Just wish it wasn't like this, every season.
It's a game in hand on norwich on Sunday - we'll have 2 gams in hand over the mags by then!! They play on Saturday. Thing is - Man CIty being ****e last night has given Arsenal a lot of hope! If they Beat West Brom tomorrow then they're above City! Then they have us on Sunday. Lots of must wins for all involved! Match or better the mags and Norwich and win the game in hand. Easy as that! Except the game in hand on Norwich is against Arsenal!
You said the same of our chances of getting anything from the game last night. 4 points from 6, one of the world's best managers, arguably the 2 worst teams in the league still to play. And we're 2 points from safety with superior goal difference to Norwich I see what you're trying to do but you're going well over the top, it just comes across as disingenuous. We're bang in this.
I'm not as bad as Mr T! I'm being very genuine though. We do have a class manager, hence the upturn in quality. It's all too late though.
How can you say that? We have until the end of the season, and we could be out of the relegation zone in 3 days time!
It's not in our hands. That is why I can say it. You're in for a thud if you genuinely believe we have a chance of staying up. Sunderland always pull something out of their backside towards the end. This is when they actually try.
Not being in our hands means nothing, this is a relegation fight not a title fight. No one at the bottom will win all of their remaining games. We do the exact same as Sunderland - look at the West Ham game at the end of last season! We have as much chance as they do, not sure how you've built them up to be some brilliant team. We would have won last night if the FA didn't hire corrupt officials,, there's loads of reasons to be positive. Sunderland are due a few shocking decisions against them and we're due a few lucky ones.
Fair play. You're positive about the team. I cannot be. To be honest, I'm gradually becoming disinterested in football and in particular, Newcastle.
