Now thats the goons have confirmed he is staying would you Keep Adel as captain? If no then who would you give the arm band to? I noticed that Faurlin has been the captain in all previous pre-seasons which I think is a better choice.
Adel is a pain in the arse, but if giving him the Captaincy keeps him happy + gets an extra 10% out of him then I say let him have it. Last thing we need right now is an unhappy Tarb, and believe me with his personality he would go spare if someone else was made skipper (imo).
agree with bakes also . I was dubious last year about AT being captain but it did work, if its not broke and all that !
As stated above, Tarrabt may wear the armband but, Derry is the real captain. Its like a marriage I suppose, we all wear the trousers visually but.....

Disagree with Bakes, as per. Taarabt is everything a Captain isn't. And with his want-away actions over the summer it would be irritating to the other players to say the least, if he was given back the armband. The Hull fans couldn't believe last year that he was our Captain, acting like that. Faurlin would be my candidate. What if it could get an extra 10% out of him? That said, it probably doesn't matter much!
Who gives a toss what Hull fans think? Also rans. We won the league + We had the best player in the league... We have plenty of leaders on the park (Orr, Hill, Derry, Kenny, Bothroyd) so let Tarb have the armband which will keep him happy. Must keep the best players in the team happy, and he's the jewel our crown like it or not swords.
No, but unfortunately Colin has made his bed now and has to lie in it. Taking the captaincy away from him now would lead to the biggest dummy spit we've ever seen. Captain till January when he's flogged.
Being a football captain isn't nearly such a crucial role as in, say, cricket or rugby but it is still an influential job. Adel doesn't deserve it, of course, but we need to keep him motivated and taking it away would make him even more stroppy. In a normal world, one without Adel, our captain would be Derry, if he is deemed likely to feature regularly in the starting line up. Otherwise, Faurlin would be an excellent choice, if his English is up to it (communication being an important part of the job).

He should not have been captain in the first place. Derry, Gorkss, Hill, Faurlin probably in that order for me.
