And you appear to be a patronising old git Castro.... I base opinion on fact. That is what I try to attain before commenting, not diving in like you seem to. Now if you can add nothing constructive, please leave the character assassinations and STFU.
I think Vern was another that thought 4 dots meant something when, as everyone else knows, it is 1 or 3.
Then what name do I post under.... Put your money where your mouth is. Who do you think I am? Bet you that you are wrong!
I base my opinions of facts. The fact is you don't have a clue what the big picture is. Time for another change of name, you are looking stupid with this one.
Wrong again.... I have one account. This one. Why would I need more? Stick a name up who you think i am... You know everything so don't be shy. Put your money where your mouth is.
I'm not supporting anyone in this stupid argument at all, but that's a bit dickish. Loads of people on here have a low post count, many people like to read forums rather than always contribute.
I have no idea if Mavroz is a wum but i agree its good to have some facts and stats to see how they have come up with this. So 58% are going to get a reduction thats quite appealing to a lot of people i imagine. I suppose it hinges how many of that 58% take children? If, and its a big if, 15-20% of concessions are fiddling it, then it will be appealing to them the new scheme as they obviously want to go but dont want to pay full price so this reduction may be pitched right. Whether its that high i dont know but its been going on for years. Adam Pearson has said FC fans are doing the same. Many in TOMs poll are still going to go. I was going to scrap it but me and the lad have talked about it and have agreed to move seats.
so some adults who 'pretended to be children' are potentially rewarded with the cheapest passes - whereas children being children will get penalised
Yes, but how many will have to move to get a reduction? You are happy to move seats but how many others will be? To be honest, the figures are pretty meaningless as they can be interpreted in different ways. The concessions being fiddled, are they adults saying they are under 22, under 10 or whatever as these reduce income by different amounts. Are they 55 year olds claiming to be OAPs? It does look like a figure plucked out of thin air. As I said elsewhere the important thing is keeping the young ones going as they are the future. Ehab's statement about it may be costing young ones more but they will benefit when they are 18 is ludicrous. They will be lost by then if they have got out of the habit of going. Another worrying thing is the statement about not being more expensive "for this season...". The most ludicrous thing is that after a season which could still see us finish the 8th highest we have ever finished in our history could end up with us getting less the following season than Huddersfield. Or Bradford. Or Portsmouth who are 2 divisions lower.
We'll actually likely finish this season with our most "successful" results - likely the most points in the championship.
I'm not happy to move at all. A lot dont have to move to get a reduction. But we dont know how many. They do, which might be in their thinking.
In terms of championship points, yes, but in terms of positions in the league our 8th most successful.
7th? The four prem, 2nd in championship, 3rd in championship. We could yet come 3rd with a higher points total this season which would make it our 6th. Where do you get 8 from?
A lot better way would have to have done what Huddersfield have, One cheap price for adults, one price for kids. Existing season ticket holders keep their seats if they wish, (though some would no doubt want to move to what they felt were better seats) the rest are on a first come first served basis. Is that a better way? Well, if Huddersfield, a smaller place with less population who have had a worse season than ourselves, end up selling more season passes (and I bet they do if we remain in the same division as them) then I would say it was. Of course they haven't had the benefit of a scheme two years in the making implemented by a marketing genius.
