City were absolutely terrible to the point where I would say Newcastle might feel they were there for the taking and be a little disappointed to only had the one point from them. Newcastle are starting to look like they're going to be up for the fight which is terrible news as they have winnable games against Palace and Villa coming up and I wouldn't put it past them getting something at Anfield at the weekend, maybe they're not as dead and buried as we'd all thought (hoped) a week or two ago.

well I have found the petulance displayed by Ferguson and a large section of your fan base pretty amazing..The fans who actually attended this game probably see it differently as they will have noted the very mixed reaction and the way they were treat with dignity and respect in the bars after the game..

Man City were playing at home mate, so that would just not happen...I was in the south stand where it took place and it was done by a no more than 7 or 8 thousand of a 45,000 crowd..

City were hopeless, for first half hour Delph and toure didn't make a pass. Everyone's touch was ****e.

To be fair mags worked real hard

Aguero offside goal but defo penalty.

Glad it's over and hope arsenal turn up with the same couldn't care less attitude.

The integrity of the league is shocking

Hate Fergie day... You seem to have issues with the greatest ever manager, don't be a hater. <laugh>

If it happened to your team I suppose you'd have all laughed?

Thought not. We don't hate your club, we just didn't like you rubbing our noses in it so we slapped you silly the next time we met, after that all was forgotten. <ok>

I hope not. As things stand I hope Carrroll gets the nod and Sierling and Sturridge get left behind.

    I think we'll take 5 strikers.

    Vardy
    Kane
    Rooney
    Sturridge
    Welbeck

Any injuries to that lot and Rashford/Carroll should be in on merit.

Sterling should be nowhere near, but we all know he's a Woy's Boy.

Point not enough. Although I thought we were down before today, there is no doubt in my mind now.

They huffed n puffed with only one decent goalscoring chance. Personally think Pards will bust a gut to beat them and theres no pressure on Villa now. Might just beat Newcastle with a bit luck.

But they scored 3 at the weekend and Palace and Villa could be seen as teams with nothing left to play for, from what I saw tonight Newcastle look like they've decided to fight to stay in the league. Obviously I hope you're right mate we'll never hear the end of it if they stay up at our expense.

Really should have got more than a point tonight mate. ManC were shocking. Not interested, no effort, barely strung two passes together. More interested in Real than your lot. Opportunity missed imo. Plenty of fight but very little else.

Agreed. Although I do believe if Rafa had come in a good number of games earlier we would have stayed up. He has, thus far, worked miracles with what is a shambolic set of players. The problem is, a disinterested Aguero and De Bruyne is still capable of smashing most sides in this league.

At the end of the day, we've got ourselves into a position where it's in our hands.

Our GD is far better so we only need to match the Mags and Norwich as a worst case scenario and we still stop up.

Said it before the Norwich game we needed 3 wins as a minimum, we managed 1 on Saturday.

By leaving them out. <laugh>. That was an expensive bench tonight mate.

No question he`s made an improvement but even when your lot were really having a go Colback stood out as absolutely ****ing wretched.

We`ve both got a hell of a lot to do
