Folks don't get much time to post but just for fun this is what I predict in the final 5 games.

It will literally go to the wire but see us survive on Goal difference.. However as this has been a crazy season we could easily beat Arsenal and Chelsea and still go down.

Would be interested to see what other people think..

    Norwich Games
    Arsenal v Norwich 3 - 0
    Norwich v Man Utd 0 - 1
    Norwich v Watford 2 -0
    Everton v Norwich 1 - 1

    Sunderland's Games
    Sunderland v Arsenal 0 - 3
    Stoke v Sunderland 1 - 1
    Sunderland v Chelsea 1 - 2
    Sunderland v Everton 2 - 1
    Watford v Sunderland 1 - 1

    Newcastle's Games
    Newcastle v Man City 0 - 2
    Liverpool v Newcastle 3 - 1
    Newcastle v Crystal Palace 3 - 1
    Aston Villa v Newcastle 0 - 2
    Newcastle v Tottenham 2 - 2

    Final Standings
    Sunderland 35 -21
    Newcastle 35 -26
    Norwich 35 -27

Interesting you have norwich to beat watford and us to draw with them. Must be the home advantage thing.

Then you do the Everton game with us winning and norwich drawing. Also the home advantage thing?

That would be amazing if we all finished on the same points. For the record I think we will get at least a point from Arsenal this weekend..

I think Newcastle's game with City will tell us a lot about where they are right now. The mags will be confident after (lets be honest) a decent win against Swansea, But.....if City play as they did against Chelsea and give them a right good tooling then I'm not sure they will recover for the rest of the season. fingers crossed.
I just hope City feel they need this win to avoid the champions league qualifying.

The two games this week for the mags could be the defining moment of the season. We could actually kick off on sunday 2 points in front of them with 2 games in hand. That should give us the impetus and confidence to push on against Arsenal who I think will be knackered after playing thursday. If it does pan out this way I think we will get something from the arsenal game and that will heap loads of pressure on norwich who have arsenal and united as their next two games. As i said in a similar post last week i didnt think we would lose to norwich and we would get our points from stoke everton and watford. Well we beat norwich and i still think our points to keep us up will come from stoke everton and watford. Think if they are lucky norwich will get maximum 4 points. Newcastle I think if lucky could get maximum 7 points so 36 could see us safe. Would be great if we culd be on that number after we have played stoke

Who are 'thursday' . . . . I've heard of a team called 'Wednesday, but you've got me baffled there :emoticon-0138-think

They must be a tough team, though, if Arsenal are going to be knackered after playing them :emoticon-0146-punch

We will win at Stoke and draw with Arsenal. Then all down to the Chelsea game to keep us up hopefully. If not 1 win 3 draws, or 2 wins or even 5 draws. What will worry me is that we get 2 or 3 points ahead of relegation then the team will really have to focus on getting to 36 points which must be the target now.

Must admit I am more worried about the scum than Norwich at the moment. They have a potential easier run in. On the other hand we are only playing Arsenal who have something to play for. Its in our hands....

After Saturday I said I thought Newcastle would be the ones to survive. After tonight's result I'm even more convinced.

    Hope I'm wrong.
