    I just can't see Newcastle getting anything. City are too strong for them in attack. Their only hope is that the left hand side of City's defence consists of Mangala & Kolarov...

    This one seems to be just a little far of cl semi to me for newkie to take any advantage of city resting guys.

    I can see newkie trying a lot and the conceding or just coughing up a handy goal but.... well newkie will be desperate.

    City know top 4 can be moved towards tonight too

    Made no odds to the header though, as the defensive line was beyond him when he made contact with the ball.

    Are you saying it was a good header (it certainly was) or that you're onside when you make contact with the ball, as opposed to when it's played?

    I'm saying that it made no difference to the passage of play him being in an offside position when the free kick was taken.

    It was a great ball, a great header and ****e defending.

    Shouldn't have stood like, but him being in that offside position didn't gain him an advantage anyway, as they'd dropped beyond him when he made contact with it.

    That Aguero goal was as offside as Duncan Ferguson's goal away at Villarre..... Oh wait, he didn't score <laugh>

    I thought Benteke really got over that bouncing ball well when he scored against Bournemouth. Irrelevant, as Coutinho was two yards offside though.

    To be fair he does add a bit of balance to the team. He keeps the width to prevent teams from defending too narrowly against them. They could probably get someone better to fill the role but he does have a purpose in the team <ok>
