    It would be cheaper for some owners just to take their coaching badges, instead of having to keep paying redundancy.

    Clearly I hope not but given the pressure Martinez and Van Gaal are under a cup win might just save their job!

    Great goal from Rashford, but I still fancy our chances more against the red United, rather than the claret and blue United.

    Amazing match at Anfield.

    Liverpool do like a European comeback..

    Very impressive 2nd half.


    Means our trip to Anfield will be moved back to the Sunday.

    Vardy just been sent off after two yellows. Presumably that's just a one match suspension? Might stuff up Leicester's run in though.

    I would have Ake on the left - if Bolasie is playing, he'll play on their right and likes to cut in on his left and I think Ake has a decent enough right foot to cope with that. Also, people have given their opinion about player of the season - is Ake the only one in the running for young player?

    How come Man City didn't play like this against us? They're certainly not outclassing Newcastle, with score at 1-1.

    Well we gave them a decent game at the Vic I thought but their quality told.

    In general MC league form has been very patchy though..

    Good news is Newcastle cannot really catch us now..
