I personally don't, Snodgrass is Prem Class.

Which is exactly where he will be going, with Norwich.

    Why not?

    Oh sorry, I forgot.

Light years ago when you we're just a twinkle in your mothers eye Leeds did half decent for a short amount of time.

One can only wonder how such a huge club took three years to escape League one.

<laugh> Norwich haven't shown any interest in him whatsoever since their 3.5 mill bid got shown the door at the end of the season. You seriously need to get caught up with the latest transfer news fast.

how is any of that relevant? We're still a bigger club than West Ham on the basis that we have significantly more fans (even had higher average attendances than them last season). Also, they've made absolutely no splash whatsoever in the premier league in the years since we dropped out.

I don't like leicester because ****s like you spend all your time on everyone elses board going on about the side you spent a fortune on getting players that are no better than any of the other promotion hopefuls.

If you don't want abuse don't come on our board being a massive ****.

Your first post is the reason we don't like Leicester fans. Our attack is exactly the same as the one that tore the league apart last season and our defence has improved because of Lonergan, Paddy and Brown coming in/back providing experience and communication through the spine of the team. Gallacher is in no way a bad player, but Snodgrass is a special talent. Your squad is no better than that of any other team looking for promotion.

How are we not bigger than West Ham?

    Bigger (worldwide) fanbase? Leeds
    Bigger Stadium? Leeds
    More Trophies? Leeds
    More European appearances? Leeds

The only thing West Ham have over us is that they've been struggling at the bottom of the PL while we've been recovering from financial meltdown!

agreed but if we manage to bring in our targets (Maynard, Routledge and Townsend) Then I think we might just have a better strike force.

Obviously all is depending on whether you keep Gradel and Snodgrass who are your two best players.

If you lose them, and for the record I think you might, then they will be big boots to fill and you will struggle to replace them.

Please tell me which part of my post is incorrect? If not then how do you judge a club's size? Townshend's another average player who wll cost a lot of money. Routledge and Maynard are good players but I think a lot will have to be done to topple the established team of Becchio, Snodgrass, Gradel and Howson.

he's completely right though. Since we got relegated in 2004, they've spent one season in the championship, 3 seasons in mid table mediocrity and 3 seasons in a relegation dogfight, one of which they lost, horrifically. As such, I propose that it is you who is deluded.

Also Snodgrass and Gradel aren't going anywhere. If the offers we've had or have rumoured to have had are anything to go by, I don't think we'll struggle hanging onto them. We've had some really laughable offers for them both. Turned down 3.5 mill for Snodgrass from Norwich so Wigan come in and offer 2.5 mill, after we put an 8 mill price tag on him, something only Leicester would be stupid enough to pay. But you wouldn't do that because "Gallagher is better".

Come to think of it, has any interest been shown in any of the players you already had or have bought so far?

You've forgotten that we have Sam and Nunez waiting on the sidelines to shake things up even more.

Townsend is 19 year old and played for Milwall last seaosn.

Try telling them that he is average <laugh>

He is even breaking through to the first team and he scored on his debut for Spurs after his loan to Milwall finished.

I think Routledge is a better Gradel and Maynard is a better goalscorer than Beccio so I have reason to be excited.

Also, what do you mean by 'another average player'?

I'd say the only average players we have brought in are St Ledger and Pelts. Both of whom will be on our bench this season.

Bought so far yes, nearly every signing bar Pelts, SSl and Nugent we have had to fight off competition.

    Interest from our current players..

Hull wanted Hobbs, King was wanted by WBA and Everton, Wellens was wanted by Blackpool, Waghorn was wanted by Derby, Schlupp was wanted by Charlton and thats the main ones.

    Fair enough.

As for Routledge better than Gradel? Pull the other one.

I think 18 and 20 goals a season respectively a season would disagree with you. Newcastle are desperate to get rid of Routledge yet they have been chasing Gradel, clearly they disagree with you. Becchio may not be the worlds most natural goalscorer but his superhuman effort makes, and saves, so many goals for the team that the 20 a season he gets are merely a bonus. We also have officially the most prolific striker in the country warming the bench most matches aswell as a forward who would walk into most NPC team's starting 11s.
