Is there anyone not to love in that team? They all do their jobs and play as a team. I have to say Dembele has been outstanding this season, he is finally turning out to be the player we all hoped he would be.
We're a second half team. We demoralise teams by being better, faster, stronger and just never giving anything up. In the end they can't keep us out. Look at the United game. They stayed with us for a while but eventually we took them apart. I think the same will happen in the league placings. Eventually Leicester will choke. Losing Vardy and Huth and Morgan's wresting finally being outlawed means their entire game is going to be thrown off. They were 10 points ahead. A day and a half later it's 5. They know they'll never get another chance. The trip to Old Trafford suddenly looks a very different prospect
He's our unsung hero, IMO. I wouldn't like to think how many times we might have lost control of midfield if he hadn't been there. As Jermaine Jenas said on MOTD once, 'you just cannot get the ball off him, he's so strong'
Dier & Toby have been immense as well. Actually the entire team have, you cannot pick out a weak link. Rose; only a couple of seasons ago I was wondering if he would be good enough. I'm not wondering now.
Danny Rose with another monstrous performance, especially good considering the abuse he was getting from the most ignorant, classless fans I've heard all season. I cannot believe he is the same player I slagged off on a regular basis last season.
Remember so many previous frustrations with Rose, Walker, Dembele and Lamela. Look at em now! winners...
Amazing how those three could be bloody awful last season and incredible this season. You know if we weren't Spurs fans we'd be in the nuthouse.....next to Wenger!
Only asked a question, given we didn't know you last year. Obviously this year you've been top class.
What is happening? Not only did I fully understand what Jamie Carragher was saying but I totally agree with him.... http://www.skysports.com/football/n...why-mauricio-pochettino-would-leave-tottenham
Apologies all for the radio silence this evening. At 4pm I received a phone call confirming I'd been hired into the job of my dreams, and the next few hours was such a blur that I totally forgot Spurs were playing full stop! Incredible. Just got home and saw the score. What a bloody day! COYS
Agreed about loving Lamela's enthusiasm and team spirit. Not so sure I want to replace him any more than any of the other 11 at this point. He has a tricky role. Kane leads the league in scoring, Eriksen is second in assists (and would be leading most years, I think.) Alli has 10 of one and nine of the other. The other forward has to defend, press and run. I'm not sure we could get someone who would do that as effectively and still create so many goals.
