Naw ...I like various lagers. Carling is worse than tennents for **** sake . Bearface lager , hever lee (you'd like that), paulener , weirstiener, st mungos, west 4, dead pony club , Camden , Caesar Augustus ...even the new Guinness lager. Drank Stella when I was younger...
A bit of class there Pud,loved the Czech beers when they were cheap before Budweiser got heavy and tried to bully Budvar out of the market, pricks one and all.I remember going to a well respected/stocked offie about 10 years ago looking for Budvar but they wouldn't sell it cos they were tied in with Guinness/Budweiser and have never been in that shop since.A 330ml bottle in Camden in the 90's was a quid and god knows how much it is now.
I drink a few different lagers on tap, only if there's no stella though. I'm a creature of habit, and if you drink the same stuff your hangovers aren't as rough. Not a fan of Peroni or Red Stripe on tap, or any of the megapoofy spanish beers. The new lagers from London are ok, as are a few random ones, nothing beats Stella though.
