Just watched Hush on Netflix Deaf & mute woman livin on her own in the woods, gets home invader trying to kill her Weak plot, but I quite enjoyed it. Mrs Tash was terrified
Day 108, film 108, "V is for Vendetta", I love this film, Natalie Portman again, just because I can.... And most certainly would, again and again....
I watched The Lobster last night. It's ****ing strange. Can't decide if it's a really good film or just weird. Has anyone else seen it? I think I liked it.
Yeah, the wife and I watched it the other night. You've described it perfectly. We enjoyed it, I think.
It's not just me then. It's funny and clever and emotional all rolled into one. But most of all its weird.
Spoiler Was not happy when that bitch kicked his brother to death. Anything like that sends my other half loopy. I swear she cares more about animals than people.
Colin Farrell, was gonna but afdah is off tonight, for some reason, I carnt get it at my daughters (B ****ing T)...
Day 109, film 109, "the second best exotic marigold hotel", I loved the first Hope the second is as good.. And when the film finishes I'm watching Another episode of " the tunnel" second serise, up to now it's been brilliant..
Hope you enjoy 2nd Marigold. But even my mam said they were taking the piss and she's very easily pleased. Caught up to series 2 ep 1 of The Tunnel by blitzing S1 over the weekend. As I hoped, the intricacy of the story made it well worth it. I found it difficult to take a sulky emo schoolgirl as a police commander but I suspect that's my age prejudice showing. Her amusing honesty and generally interesting weirdness got me over it. All tv and film cops have to have exotic and problematic personal life stories these days though. I think it's the formula. I know "the job" can have severe personal consequences but not many cops I have ever met have a level of consciousness sufficient to even contemplate the depths of angst exhibited by their tv counterparts. No feeling...no pain in most cases. I also thought it was very much an up and down in quality as many of these TV series tend to be. Partly down to committee writing I suspect but also to budget management. If they spend £1/2 a million on a flash scene to rival the movies, they have to scrimp on the next. The "mob" attacking that factory and burning it down in minutes with just 50 or so grannies and one petrol bomb was hilarious. Best line... as a detective watches a video of a dead body being moved "She's coming apart, just like the Euro" Episodes of S2 are being slow to trickle down to us peasants and parasites so I may have to be more patient with S2. But I am looking forward to it.
Watched the latest Star Wars on Exodus; great film, amazing film quality on there. Has there been a second series of The Bridge on the box? We loved the first and the Mrs reckoned Phil Schofield reckoned he had just caught up on it - can't find it on Sky anywhere.
appologies to anyone that liked this film, I didn't like it, the first for me was very good but the second Was almost embarrassing, it would of been a plus if I could Of fallen asleep watching it but as I had my 3 year old grandson Digging me in the back whilst he was asleep, I couldnt. I've been looking after them for the last few days as my daughter Went on a short break, I need one now, I'm completly shattered....
