Staff at my client in 1994 had a fantasy league, and in a similar vein a couple of us tried to
construct a starting XI of :

1. serial thugs
2. right ugly mugs

and just like you we could not easily get there on either.

 

... I also knew a guy that tried to compile an all Irish side ... struggling for forward options at the time so he included Dion Dublin ... fair play ... although the team did pretty poorly tbh ...

 

Only a plastic would accept zero effort for over paid prima donnas. You seem comfortable with it, almost bragging, a real fan wouldn't have none of that.

I think he's become a Spurs fan Spurlock.

The way he flits between clubs is embarrassing. People like him represent the worst of modern football.

Good job Spurs, you have shown hunger, desire, good football etc, you are most likely going to finish above us, and will have fully deserved it.

Piskie you should save your bitterness for Wenger and the players, if you want to have a go at someone, it's them, not Spurs fans.

Cheers. And you're probably right. Wenger, as good as he's been for you, seems incapable of accepting that the game has moved on.

 

This thread should be closed, as Spurs are now without doubt, the top dogs, not only in North London, but the whole of London and if they keep everyone, they'll only get better under Potch.

 

Obviously, we all hope so. After the turmoil of the last few years it's nice to see us moving in the right direction at last.

We have a young side - youngest in the Prem - that is still growing together. If we can't quite get there this year, we will hopefully add judiciously in summer, and we'll be up there challenging next year for sure.

 

If only you could prise Bale away from RM. You'd be unstoppable next year
