I agree, if the ref gave the W Ham a penalty for that he has to give a penalty to Leicester... hold on he has now ..
I agree with that, he had a good position to see it too - Jon Moss, the school teacher, an establishment ref, or not, attempting to maintain parity now with a penalty. 2-2
It was, but then he didn't give the one on Huth. Stonewall penalty and he didn't give it. Ridiculous inconsistency.
I am not in the 'Leicester to win the league' camp. Don't like them and found them arrogant the season we went up with them, Fans/players. I would rather see Spurs (a London club win it). Although agree with inconsistency with the ref.
You can't start giving penalties after 80 minutes of similar situations. Extremely confusing for players and management, you're allowed to hold for 80 minutes but then of a sudden you're not. There where headlocks and attempted Heimlich maneuvers with nothing done from the ref. If you're to give penalties for it then do it at the first opportunity early on in the game, then you won't have that problem. Reid did the same as Vardy, tried to create a pen. But Morgan was late and did hold him, just didn't like Reids theatrics. Leicesters pen was very soft as well. The only one who was a stonewall pen was the holding on Huth late on. But that was not given, go figure.
That's a massive point for Leicester and a blow to all the Leicester haters.Had they lost they may have gone into a bad run, but a last minute equaliser with 10 men will keep their confidence right up. I actually think that the ref got Vardy's first yellow wrong. Very soft imo.
Agree with you there Col, Vardy just happened to be the next player to commit a foul after Moss had decided to show some authority following some feisty challenges.
Nice one them Foxes. West Ham are one of the better teams in this division, they have done really well this season, to come back in those circumstances was excellent.
