I think it was about 45% who said it was very unlikely they'll join and another 15-odd% who said it was unlikely they'd join.

It was probably a couple talking about the combined increase.

Sad times if people sign up and dont give a **** about the future generation of Hull City supporters

The bastards are wrecking the club
If you LOVE Hull City then think about those young supporters as they are the clubs future

Without them there is no future for Hull City

Tell them to **** off with this ****ty idea
And only then might they listen.

Think of your fellow supporters who have had a huge increase in costs.

The only way fans can win this is to unite against it

Boycott this scheme for the sake of your clubs future

There are NO Posatives about charging young fans the same as adults

    Not one.

The underlying reason is that I'm a life long City supporter and I chose to treat family & friends (birthday presents/Christmas presents etc) to watch games at the KC to encourage them to enjoy the experience I have enjoyed for the last 50+ years at BP and for the last decade or so at the KC. Prior to attaining concession status (age 60) my adult nephews and their friends were the main beneficiaries. After reaching concession status the occasional users of my pass have been individuals (friends or family or friends of friends) over 60 years old. I have been scrupulous in ensuring whoever utilizes my seat in my absence is not "screwing" the system. One season I donated my paid-for pass to a prominent member of the local press to look for "needy" City fans who may otherwise not be able to afford the entrance fee to a City game. An excellent seat (i.m.o.) in Lower w5.
I would like to continue with this gift giving and see 2 or 3 games myself at the KC on my annual/bi-annual pilgrimages back home, in the same seat.
As a pensioner, the doubling of the cost may obliterate this wish.
I believe I may have already earned my stripes but feel cheated that I & others I chose may lose out as a result of this new scheme.

    Supporter of 50 years
Took to my first game by my dad
    Whose support went further back

I would pay less for my membership

But its not about me though.

One day i wont be here

Its about the new fans and the young
    Fans OUR CLUB NEEDS !

At the age of 16, my son is one of them young supporters. The future of the club.

He has been going my dad (who is 69 and 60 years attendance under his belt) for the last 10 years.

I have had to break my son's heart (and probably my dad's hearts) and tell him that I'm sorry son I just can't justify that amount of money every month.

It makes me feel **** as a parent

I am so sick for you.

I would have paid more for my pass rather then kick the next generation of fans in the teeth..

Hell we have 8000+ empty seats as it is

Only a lunatic would come up with such a **** idea

I assume they went with children and/or other OAPs such as their spouses.

The matchday tickets are supposed to be more expensive but when the club see the poor attendances what are they going to do. They can't exactly charge less for match tickets because everybody would cancel their memberships - as you implied.

I only do away games. I haven't stepped foot in the KC since the name change bollocks. My son does the occasional away game. Probably gonna be more now.

    This^
So would I, but I have assumed that most people are simply looking at how it effects them directly. Having said that the strong feelings on the subject mean that maybe I'm wrong ?

Easy to say, but you've no need to feel that way. None of this is your doing

Hmm, isn't that just like not honouring a NDA when you feel it is being wrongly applied, to protect the indefensible? Sometimes things aren't black and white, are they? :emoticon-0138-think

I feel awful cos I am not refusing for financial reasons. I am refusing on principle cos no concessions is a ****s trick and I have been brought up with morals. I stood by the name change and I will stand by this.

It's nothing at all like it, and who said anything about an NDA not being honoured?

I'm glad you've realised things aren't black and white though. It could open up a whole new world to you.
