I would say Simeone but I don't know if the Arsenal fans would put up with his style even if it meant winning. Koeman would be a risk, though who wouldn't be? Big name, commands respect, plays good football. Perhaps promote from within?
But how bad a manager is Simeone? His style of play is still good to watch but is a lot more gritty. The invincibles was not all style, it was backed up with plenty of toughness. Without that toughness, we wouldn't have achieved much.
Its a myth that we only see Arsenal play good football anyway, we've been complete tripe to watch in 90% of games the last couple of years, even when we win
Wenger could easily meet the ambitions of west ham spurs etc. I don't know maybe I'm confused but have west ham been finishing above us for the last decade and even this year? And the same for Spurs. What Wenger is doing at Arsenal now would be considered excellent at WH and Spurs.
Erm yeah I do. Top 4 finishes would be fantastic for WH and then even Spurs who are always trying to make it in the top 4.
Unless I am wrong because West Ham and Spurs are always coming top 4 and winning fa cups that that would no longer be good enough for them. Yeah I must have missed all of that.
Constant top 4 finishes for West Ham would definately not count as success off course not. Constant mid table finishes and relegation fights is better. Lol. as I said as stale as wenger has gone it is still considerably more than what clubs like west ham and Spurs have been achieving unless again I am wrong and those 2 have been finishing above us every year and I somehow missed out?
Of course it would for Spurs and West Ham. Getting into top 4 and then Champions League would significantly increase their revenue. Levy and Gold would be licking their lips over the chance of getting that money!
It may have escaped your notice... Sssssh...we're already going to be in it. Don't tell your mate. He'll go nuclear.
Yes, you are, but I am talking about on a consistent basis, that's the point you just ignore, I said Wenger shows he can do it on a consistent basis, which would be a very good return for you.
I do love how the Wenger lovers are no longer attempting their bullshit anymore, lol, just like Wenger, their excuses are up.
I actually think your players are good enough and there's some really good future prospects there. It's not your current players you need to worry about. It's the fact he didnt buy an out and out proven CF and a quality CB, that's all. And tbf that is unforgiveable..
I didnt say West Ham, now you're clutching to backtrack from what you said earlier. Wenger imo is no longer capable of meeting the ambitions of United, Chavbus, City, Liverpool and possibly Spurs. And how can you deny that for at least 4 of those clubs who's ambitions (and trophies over the last decade) match or exceed yours.
The clubs I am talking about are WH and Spurs, not United, Chelski, and City. However, for United at the moment, Wenger would certainly be a massive step up to what you lot have been through in the last years. At the end of the day Wenger has managed to finish above United 2 years running now, and could very well be 3 come end season.
nobody cares who you want okay? know your place peon and next time you address me ask permission before you do so. Like this: 'Sir may I have a moment of your glorious time please? I know it be not my place to question or speaketh to thee, but my heart aches me to address you even though thy are far superior than me, a peon, so thy Arsenal fan, may I speaketh to thee?' That's how you address me next time, ok?
Who gives a fck If finishing top 4 isnt enough for you, it damn well aint enough for United. Or any of the top 5 or so clubs which was the original point you seem to be skirting around.
