Perhaps they will. I'm just overjoyed that they are feeling the ****e that we went through when we went down. Awful, awful fans.
We aren't out of the woods yet. We have no idea if there'll be a similar meltdown on our board if there's a reaction to Shorts tenure as owner.
Massive difference to Villa going down and the other two clubs going down. They look like they are in for one hell of a bumpy ride. An owner that looks at them like a dog he wants to put down. A squad that doesn't care one jot. I'd say poor fans but they're one of the worst set going, maybe this'll finally get them to accept that they're not a sleeping giant nor are they on the cusp of joining the elite teams.
The only "Villla in meltdown" i ever remember was when I bought a Sundae at Notriani's and it was ice cream over lemonae x
Random **** Villa fact. Today. April 19. Git ****ing yonks ago in 1913. Villa won the FA cup. By beating.........
Always had a soft spot for Villa because of Paul McGrath, my favorite player ever. They played a pre-season game here in San Jose in the early 90's, which I was happy to attend. Bus full of good boys and girls from the local made the trip. Went drinking after the game at Brittania Arms, a good footy bar and George Best's hang out. As expected, Villa players and supporters starting filing in after the game and soon they dominated the crowd. ****s. I never looked back. **** 'em. Hope they stay down for years and their supporters buy Birmingham tops.
I remember mate. Been acussed of being insensitive about folks leaving and seeing them as disposable, but always remember things about my favourite posters.
Comm, take a moment and watch this. Jackie Charlton, the unofficial King of Ireland talking about McGrath. Two great characters.
. Where are ya? Im in Israel. What you doing there? Well i went to Cork with my mate........ Brilliant.
Made me laugh like. Dont hear stories like that now. We put him to bed and made someone sleep across the door so he couldnt get out.
No more stories like that, you're right. Jackie Charlton one of my heroes. The story of the '94 World Cup is tragic. Charlton handled it all like the great man he is. McGrath had a brilliant opening game against Baggio and Italy. Epic. One of the great individual efforts ever. Then **** went bad. The less said the better. Same done the other way. http://www.irishcentral.com/news/19...-be-major-espn-movie-239814941-240124801.html
