It's always my one-stop-shop for dodgy gear. <laugh>

As an add-on story I actually took that top with me when I emigrated to Australia - trouble is I couldn't wear it in the Summer because the rubber logo got too hot and burned my chest. <laugh>

Didn't know how to upload a photo, but here it is in my last post, hope it's not too big. Taken from the away stand up in the gods at Newcastle with my i-phone on zoom. Lascelles unmarked, is about to head in their first goal. I thought it was such a timely snapshot, that I would share it with you, painful as it is to see how poor we are at corners.

The rest of the day was pretty painful as well. Over ten hours on the bus after leaving at 5 am to get to Newcastle including the 3 hours standstill on the A1 due to an accident blocking the road. Straight into the ground on arrival and up 14 flights of stairs to sit down in my seat in the sky at 3:20 pm.
What a match it was, with Newcastle fighting for every ball and our lot mistakenly thinking it was just a training session. Bitterly disappointing, no fight and no will to win. Straight on the bus and another 7 and a half hours trip with an already sore bum, to eventually get back to Swansea at 12:30 am, whilst the "tired" players had flown home and were already tucked up in bed many hours before us. :emoticon-0121-angry

Well done on making the trip! My son has gone up frequently for that fixture in the past and it's a killer. The least we could expect is a bit of effort from the team.

Couldn't watch the game as my kodi was playing up and quite glad I didn't by the sounds of it. Losing 3 nil to a team that will be relegated is very poor.

I'd like to see things changed up tactics and formation wise for the Leicester game. Try and breath a bit more life into the team. Also give Barrow a run of games.

Well, I've settled down a bit. I bagged Guidolin on Saturday but when you look at the game, he did exactly what we were calling for him to do. He picked an attacking side, set them up in an attacking formation to attack Newcastle. We even had two proper wingers on at the same time, after Ayew showed himself to be surplus to requirements again. Also, on Saturday, there wasn't a hint of a diamond formation and you know what, we lost 3-zip to an inferior side we should have beaten 3-0. I still say that, even with the result, we were the better side and that Newcastle got away with a smash and grab.

Our problem wasn't Guidolin imo, he did what we all wanted, but the players played a listless excuse for a game defined by lack of effort, precision, penetration, interest and intensity and that's just when we had the ball. Without it we lacked desire, focus and again, interest and that is 100% down to the players. Guidolin did what we wanted, the players didn't, they were ****e, lightweight and showed they were not up for it on the day, heads on the beach?

If Taylor played as ****e as Rangel did, and has all season, then some would be paying for a sniper in the crowd. How does Rangel get away with costing us goals (look at the first in particular and he was paperbag weak for the second) game after game. Yet amazingly, Taylor gets hammered when he misses a pass or a tackle? Quantum Mechanics is easier to work out than that.

Another thing that amazed me Saturday was that Gomis played with more intensity and desire than the entire team save Cork and Williams, did Siggy even play? Fer? Ayew?.

Still, score remains Crap 1-0 Guidolin, he's the boss so has to take the blame even when it isn't his fault.

Two big overlooked factors , Newcastle played a super relegation surviving game of football , ........and our players played a looks like we're safe , no big deal game of football .....not a very good combo.
People who haven't been playing should all play next game .At least they might be hungrier to show something .

My son said the same as you Stumpy and to an extent you're both right imo. However, why do we have a team talk at half time? Isn't that the point when good managers put things right? Lack of effort? "Sort it out or I'll sub the first player I see not trying to win this game!" That sort of thing. Guidolin cannot and should not shoulder all of the blame for Saturday but he woefully failed to put it right, and even though I'm not advocating getting rid it's fair to say that many a manager has lost his job when he clearly cannot motivate the players.

Completely opposite to the week before when he and the team got everything spot on. I'm sick to death of this nauseating see-saw of a season and can't wait to see the back of it.

Guildo was clueless. his technical ability is zero, We have got a result against the toon in every game we have played against them in the premiership and they cant buy a win against anyone until guildo popped into St James's and made the toon look like champions elect....<laugh>
