Did I hear boos for Twatcheeks from the Bournemouth crowd on MOTD2? That's classy. ;)

I'd go wrong (first Vardy yellow), right (Vardy dive), questionable (WHU pen), wrong (Huth pen shout), wrong (LCFC pen). If Morgan on Reid was a penalty, so too was Ogbonna on Huth.

The pub game quality of his refereeing would suggest that he already was!

Tell that to Mr Vardy! Mind you the players were their own worst enemies, it was them that were breaking the laws of the game so it's no good them moaning when they get picked up. Easy to pick holes in the refereeing but it takes two to tango.

Looks like Vardy may get an extended ban after his reaction to the red card. I really hope he does - don't like that sort of thing and have gone right off him since the Saints game ...............

Only just seen the Vardy incident and was a definite dive so good decision there. Vardy has had that coming for a while too the prick.

On this occasion I agree with you Tom. The first Vardy yellow probably looked worse in real time than it did in the slow motion replay. And as for trying to sort out what went on in the penalty areas for every corner and free kick, ref's should have packs of Rottweilers at their disposal to split players up!

At the end of the day, as we've said over and over again about our own players (Victor springs to mind), if you're on a yellow, you don't do stupid things like Vardy did with his pathetic dive. Much as I would love to see Leicester win the league, I have zero sympathy with cheating.

Do you think that, perhaps, next season, the FA will actually get the clubs together and give them fair warning about what goes on in the box? Then give the refs the chance to REALLY clamp down? I'd love to see the first game of the season when there are 2-3 penalties in every game. Then, I bet it would be quickly sorted out and we wouldn't have the wrestling match every time there's a corner/free kick.
Or am I just dreaming ......

Way too simple for the FA/PL <whistle>

It would certainly work though, as long as everyone was prepared to accept the few weeks of craziness first though. I think the same would work for surrounding the referee, really should enforce the 'captain only' rule. While we are at it retrospective bans for diving too <ok>

I don't think it does, really. Some of those RWC games went on forever, with endless stoppages.

Just shows what a bag of dogs do-do's the referees have created for themselves in giving penalties one moment and then not. Nobody in authority is actually stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. Consistency, and where the point of penalising a team is, as governed by the rules of the game. You can't decide to take action on players just because you've given them a good talking to. Consequently, a reasonable case could be against every penalty and card decision Moss made in the Leicester/WHU game.

For example, the soft penalty given at the end. Did Carroll attempt to play the ball or the man? He made no attempt at all at playing the ball, so however soft it might be, that's supposed to be a foul. Oh dear, it was in the penalty area. That's a tad inconvenient. But when Moss has allowed much greater discrepancies to go on in the penalty area it does beg the question - what was so wrong here, this time more than others?

    Game officials badly need help.

Spurs gather 3 points tonight, pressure starts to mount. I can see Spuds getting them on the last bloody game.
