He had the budget...but not the profile with which to attract the quality that his budget should have bought him A lesson duly noted by EFC
Playing normal would be OK if we went ahead and our manager could change the setup and get the team to defend a lead we don't have a problem going forward our problem is we don't defend a lead as a team that has to come down to the manager... I've lost count of how many points we've lost from winning positions as it's allot lol
such bitterness.....wait until the plans are made public. I can't wait to see the reaction of some on here
Ooh look another intelligent one has turned up I won't compare you to anyone on here I'll get shot down for it lol
Over 50 that says it all really lol.... That's a hell of allot...You guys had similar problem and reacted (at least Klopp has) which has yielded results But Martinez reaction is....nothing play the same it's OK?
Plans mean nothing, I have plans to go **** Mila Kunis. Not going to happen though no matter how many times I say it What's the plan? Build new stadium and invest money? Pretty sure that's the mantra for all new owners so nothing out the ordinary. If he does it, great, don't think anyone here is going to be horrified and petrified.
I'm sure the plans for everton's new stadium will be lovely but.... when owners actually do sonething from hard experience then you know.. not from pretty pictures. The reality is lfc cos just enough out of fsg. Just enough from fsg perspective. West ham won the lottery. Those spiv owners got 60k stadium for nothing and I am utterly convinced we will gear some day someone was bribed seriously to make this happen. They will sell it for fortune I think. Chelsea have compromised on battersea now due to cost.. Chelsea.... City got a freebie too. Half reason Arabs bought in. Arsenal and spurs are only ones who seem to have done it right.
Think we are up there with lost points from a winning position. Even with Klopp we've done it a few times, think that's been more down to a dodgy defence than manager though. Know few have been injured at times but a defence of Coleman Jag Stones/Muri Baines with 2 holding infront in Barry & McCarthy should be good enough defence to not concede so many goals so i's only right the finger is pointed at the manager & tactics.
Martinez each year at Wigan felt like the players took over and went direct. They played the passing ****e right up til it was oh **** then they went back to basics.. at everton we've not seen this. One year at Wigan they went 3 at back. That's the only time I think martinez made a change.
So no owner has ever made promises and had plans and the opposite has happened? Go speak to the Geordies & Villa fans Tobes, see what they think of their owners after the "plans" they had in place when they arrived
Yup for sure...you can have a worldy defence but if they live on or in front of the halfway line that's no good...Great example was West Ham at home 2-0 lead at home with 10 men should be time to shut up shop not put a striker on lol
Fair play to them and all but... I really couldn't give a **** about Everton (or any other club) getting new owners. However, since it's Everton, I will wish them all the best with it.
Well considering you seem to think this new owner is God's gift and have seemingly zero worries he's anything other than that.... sure. But speaking from hard experience you can't know til they really go do it. I'm pretty sure if you sat in a room with Moores or parry they would say g&h are amazing in 2006. You could have ****ing chicken farmers for all I know... jack walker built Blackburn from nothing only for his trust to burn his legacy to the ground.... best of luck with it but don't assume all you hear is going to occur is all.
