I don't think for a second that bringing the kids through was part of some masterplan but he has proven throughout his career that he is prepared to select young players. Certain other managers are too scared to put their trust in youth team players!

This season has been as **** to watch as last season but the one bright spot has been watching a few academy players make the step up.

Woy should take notice. But, of course, he won't...

  5. I think Poch has set the tone for what will follow - EPL clubs looking to build their academies and nurture home-grown talent.

    Thanks Bluey.

By the way, your toughness is bordering on legendary. It takes a special kind of aged headhunter to sit behind a computer and swagger like you do. Especially when you're so sharp and witty with it! Well played Bluey!

It also takes a special kind of coward to brave up behind a keyboard when he would never do it to anyone's face. You really are a legend Coward. Chin up.

    Fair enough Bluey.

It's rare to encounter someone who has actually used the Internet to ask to meet up with a stranger (for a fight/tea). I assumed that it's such a cliche that it almost never happens anymore! Who would want to come across as that kind of a sad old ****?!

    Good for you Bluey!

Well you come across as a sad old coward. Who would want to come across as that? I guess that makes us even.

I think this is bordering on grooming Bluey. Basically you're saying that unless I agree to meet up with you, you are going to keep calling me a coward.

Given that this is the interweb and I think you're a figure of fun, I choose the coward nickname over the opportunity to meet a very strange old man whose intentions are dubious at best!

    You dirty old man!

It's not that you turned down the offer to meet, it's the fact that you didn't accept the apology and chose to sulk and hide behind your keyboard and dwell on it. If it was the other way around, I would have accepted the apology and moved on. That's the diference between you and me I guess.

Touching a nerve? Nah. However, as it obviously bothers you so much, I'll drop the coward taunt. There.
