    We were robbed today.

But if Leicester win the league by a single point over spurs, then I will look back at that dodgy penalty and snigger. :emoticon-0136-giggl

My in laws are Saints fans and are surprisingly bitter about Leicester potentially winning the league. I put it down to the fact that Saints challenged for a spell last season but fell away as they didn't believe they deserved to be up near the top of the league. Basically Leicester are doing what Saints failed to do.

  5. West Ham ****ed it up, simple as! They had Leicester on the ropes, but bottled it. How the hell are Spurs going to win the title if teams give games to Leicester? It's a joke!

My sole consolation is that Arsenal also bottled it, today. If we beat Stoke tomorrow, I'd say that was "job done" for 2nd spot.

    Will you buy the DVD?

    #266
  7. There's no DVD for finishing second, Stan, something United probably won't appreciate for at least the next decade.

Had the video been invented the last time Spurs finished second?

  9. We'll probably have quantum computing by the time United next finish second.

You're lucky though HIAG. You're one of the few Spurs fans who can remember the last time Spurs won the league.

  12. Foxes boss manager Claudio Ranieri says the decision "changed the game."
(BBC Football, following Leicester's draw against the Spanners)

Well, I suggest that Vardy stops throwing himself to the ground like a Gerrard clone.

What "changed the game," Claudio, my friend, is the fact that Vardy was caught cheating.

Damn, now that has to be in my remaining lifetime (I want to see quantum computers attack the
    great NP problems before I die) . :( :)

It took them the first 18 years of my life to win it so I'm prepared to wait it out again! I never imagined that the next 20 years would be so enjoyable!

We won't win anything with LVG, that's for sure.

I hate to give the man any credit but one thing he has shown is that United's academy, which is supposedly in terminal decline, has some potentially fantastic players coming through. Obviously Rashford looks like he could make it but the one who looks the business to me is Fosu-Mensah. He's only 18 and has already shown he can play in four different positions. A true Ajax player!

Three seasons ago I saw a U21 Spurs Man Utd game where Kane and Carroll were playing,
and Man Utd fielded Zanucj and Lingard. For Spurs, others from the class of 2013 are now
seniors (Kane/Mason/Carroll/Bentaleb) , and Pritchard had this season ruined by injury.

It takes time, and not even those who look good then make the grade in the end.
For Man Utd, the commercial pressures mean that waiting for academy talent to mature
is not as easy as for Soton/Spurs etc.

Yeah, I was being facetious. I think the clueless Dutch one has, in his desperation, turned to anything and anybody that may help him out. In the two cases you've mentioned, he's gotten lucky.
