So does that mean there's no charge (forget about the joining fee for now!) for being a Match by Match member then? (Other than your tickets for each game) Genuine question as I couldn't figure out that bit either
Anyone who thinks any of this is born of stupidity is underestimating the Allams. They pushed this out there by devious means that many would have thought the supporters would unite against; but they read it right, they abused the goodwill of the FWG and they used Burnsy to further plans. They threw out enough doubt to give them the feedback they needed and the opportunity to do minimal adjustment and to announce to their timescales. I believe everyone has been used, because to be knowingly involved in the deception is simply wrong and no one from a supporters group would do that, would they? I have read comments about dishonesty and illegal marketing; is anyone surprised by this? At the very least it is crystal clear that the Allams are continuing to manipulate everyone to their own ends, the other extreme is far more serious. They seem to enjoy walking a fine line. Why do any of you wish to sit and talk to the puppets of these people? What do you think they will change? No one can tell him how to run his business, can they? What do the FWG believe they achieved by attending that meeting? There were one or two whistle-blowers, they exposed the plans and the ridiculous NDA, they decided that the Allams and their approach was wrong, they thought it not worthy of being honoured by a NDA without worth. They were right. To continue to cooperate, collaborate or whatever it is you see yourselves doing, is feeding the monster, so be done with them and set them goals to get your goodwill back - take some control in this fiasco. There will, just as in international diplomacy, be an indirect conduit, in this case it is the OSC, as their hands are tied.
I'm not sure how you managed that? So the whistle-blowers were agents of the whistle-blowers, not much changes with that does it?
Did they get their information from FWG members? they might not have been employees, so technically you are right. What is your preferred term? Why were my comments attributed to PLT?
From what I can see the only things to have changed is to cap the amount families pay for the first year and there will be an extra 800 zone 1 seats and that's it. For me it sounds like the club didn't expect the backlash and when it came made some minor adjustments which leaves their original plans the same. No doubt in one year's time, once the dust has settled, they will be looking at moving the extra 800 seats back to where they came from. Much more interesting is when is the start date for the membership and if you earn 2 stripes will you be ahead or behind with your payments in terms of matches if you cancel. You could stop your direct debit without giving any notice and the club could end up owing you money. I didn't see it in the pack but hopefully it is in the detailed rules and regulations of the membership terms.
Not wanting to start another drawn out exchange, but perhaps those are things to have found out before your earlier post. I'm not sure what words you mean attributed to PLT, but through no fault of his own, he wasn't at the meeting. EDIT - I see what you mean. **** knows..It's odd that. I said in an earlier thread, a witch hunt to find who said what to who and when and why is counter productive. It's done, we are where we are and have stuff to be dealing with.
I didn't need to find out before my post as their identity is of no interest to me, I didn't ask about them, which is why I have used the easy identity of whistle-blower; I only qualified it because you were pedantic over it's use and, at the same time, gave another bit of information out that you say isn't necessary, yet is just another clue to their identity. I agree it was odd and I assumed you had manually quoted and simply typed the wrong name.
Correct, there is no fee at all for match day members, the match day memberships basically just replace match tickets.
Cheers May as well sign the whole family up then because it means you can buy match tickets earlier and I may as well have some extras signed up in case anyone is stopping over and fancies a game
I pay money either in installments or as a lump sum - I get to see every game - sorry but I really don't get what is the difference between being a member or a season ticket holder - what the **** is it all about
