Who is the preferred choice? Would you want Rodgers back?

I'd take him back all day long and I'm hoping a deal for him to return is already in place. Given the dross being served I'd even have Martinez back at this rate.

Reading the paper today Brendan wants 5m salary!!! Huw has a hard on for the Sheffield Wednesday manager plus he is supposed to has had talks with two international managers this week. He has been a busy boy!!

Based on that, funny how the Belisa story coming out this week, that he was looking at transfer targets for next season.

The cheapest option is the current status quo .Under the current situation , Huw will keep Guidolin , maybe look at past options . If the Americans get their foot in the door , look for Bielsa to follow them through it .

if guido goes which I will be honest I hope he does, hes done what he has been paid to do which is keep us up barring some bizarre results, but I don't think hes the man to take us forward. but please not Rodgers we need to be looking at some one to take us to the next level and hes not the guy for me

Well if it did end up being Biesla/Bielsa, what a coup that would be <ok>

And an expensive coup it would be .Bielsa will demand big money for his pocket and for the pockets of the players he brings in . Then we have to start over again with our 4th manager in 25 games .

His history of quality is no bigger than in Guidolin's past . If Bielsa comes in , expect him to have a dozen games into the new season to try to work out the kinks that Guidolin is working out now .

Is that what you call yesterday's disgraceful showing? "Working out the kinks?" <doh> I don't see that at all. One week we beat the Champions with a gutsy performance that is dead right from first to last, this week the complete reverse where we've seen our 17th set piece goal against us hitting the back of the net.

For me that's not working out kinks that's rank inconsistency that should have been put right by now. I fully accept that the players didn't perform but, as always, the Manager gets praise when they do and should get equal criticism when they don't. Can't have it both ways.

He's likely to have kept us up with a squad not of his making and one player personally selected ,not too bad considering we were in free fall ,although Curtis should take the lions share of the praise .Rodgers reason for coming back would be about the money and not for building a reputation as a young and up and coming manager he's been there and done it so not for me either .Either we keep Guidolin and let him buy and sell as he sees fit or a new man in altogether.

And the beat goes on .........maybe a new skin for that drum
We've had problems since League 1 with set pieces , now you want to take Guidolin to task on it after a dozen games in charge... A dozen games in which we gained 18 points and crawled out of relegation ....now that's disgraceful.
Everytime we have an off game in his early reign , I can accept criticism of the current manager ....relentless attacks on him and his tactics , subs and starting line ups ....character in general , by a knee jerk ticket holder is another story .

it's funny that we are getting points now but it's only how we play in certain games that's iimportant .
When Laudrup was playing in his final 10 games or so nothing matter except points .Not the amount of tough games we were playing in a short time frame .Not that we were playing pretty good with a lot of players out ....only POINTS mattered . It's a laugh to watch the posts being moved in this scenario

What is 'relentless' in our 'attacks' on him? He wasn't 'attacked' last week by me or anyone else. He was praised. So how is it 'relentless'?

Look, I'll make this simple so you can understand because you do seem to have trouble comprehending the content and intent of posts. Or maybe it's just my posts. ;)

Yes, set pieces have been our Achilles heel for a long time. Successive managers have been criticised for it and rightly so. Our current Manager has NOT solved the problem and therefore ALSO deserves criticism, not praise.

In a nutshell he gets praise when deserved, he gets criticism when deserved. Just like any other manager. <ok> If you think he's the right man to take us forward then you're perfectly entitled to that opinion and you're not alone.

I'm also entitled to the view that he's out of his depth in the Prem and really struggles to motivate the team consistently. If he stays I foresee big big trouble for us because he doesn't seem an improvement on Curtis, in fact he's probably a step down.

Now you can come up with insults and abuse as much as you like - that won't change my view so save your breath. I said last week after the Chelsea game that only Guidolin can change my view and that would invove him stringing together some impressive results to the end of the season. Guess what happened yesterday?

If the Club goes for Guidolin (who's record is NOT comparable to Bielsa's despite what you say) then I'll be hugely disappointed - and worried.

Mate we get you have a love in for Guidolin, but a lot of us don't. I know there is no way you can get to games, but when you are watching it at the ground maybe you get a different perception of what is going on. Some of his decisions for me are bizarre, like moving our top scorer out of an attacking role when we are chasing goals. I understand you believe he is the man for the job, but for me he is nowhere near what we need. Yes you can go on about how many points he has and how many managers we will have had if replaced, but the crux for me is he is not what I want, not that it matters as no matter what I or you think the board will decide and I think the borefest negative football served up, except 1 game. Will or has made the boards decision pretty easy and that will be a complete clear out at the end of the season, both manager and certain players.

Only a fool would attack after a reasonable game thus the "Everytime we have an off game " reference.
Hey , if you want to be critical to the man , who is you're current manager , of the club you support , , who has been here only a dozen games and got us 18 points for survival ..... Fill your boots . But t keep it clean or you will be dealt with deservedly . .
