Good win that. Shame about the goal as we'd have gone above Saints if we won by 2, but we have game in hands on them and those above.

The Leicester equaliser was great as means we're 2 behind Hammers with a game in hand. 6th is a minimum target at the moment as that's last EL place.

Sounds like Lucas had another solid game at CB. Calm, composed, won his tackles, obviously good on the ball to play his way out.

Ojo is raw but offers promise. Ibe seems to dwell on the ball for too long.

Sturridge is getting greedy. Allen's pressing and composure at times helps dictate the game. Lucas should never play in defence again.

Oh and Smith at left back played an awful game

Yes Ojo played it like u21 game. You cannot sit on the ball static like he did. It must be faster. He did imo way better than last week v stoke though.

I thought he tired in end.

Sturridge was never interested in a pass today I agree. Should have scored 3... they were some good and some bad in the misses.

Allen did do well.. pity klopp had to send on lallana with instruction to actually pass to each other for allen to come back into it mind.

Overall smith was constantly just lashing at the ball carrier and not pausing and just controlling himself so.... Yes championship sounds right.

He was awful, but constantly exposed by Smith too. Should have given 2 pens in first half so my best hope is that is for fitness and he'll do a job in DM zone in europa when fitter.

Why did the ref allow you to play 4 keepers? it made it very hard for Bournemouth to score but they still managed one.

Make shift team an away with at a difficult team, can't really ask for more. Haven't seen the game but heard Allen had yet another solid game? He's been very consistent as of late and I look forward to seeing whether he can maintain both the form and fitness if he now is forced in to a run of games.

Remaining games:

Liverpool v Everton
Liverpool v Newcastle
Swansea v Liverpool
Liverpool v Watford
Liverpool v Chelsea
West Brom v Liverpool

Some real winnable games in there, would be nice to get some momentum going in to next season, like we did before the 13/14 season. 6th is definitely do'able.

Mathematically, we could still finish second <party>
