one of the many reasons why managers want refs to justify why they do things after game, as half the time its scenarios like you say, to benefit another, which is wrong.

 

Every corner Huth and Morgan have been all over their markers and red has finally given a pen after all the warnings.

Yeah...tbf it's been that kind of match very physical...take guts for a ref to give the 10 penalties it needed lol

 

That's the problem. Everyone will moan at the ref, but I think he was spot on. Definitely dive = yellow. The west Ham pen was maybe a bit soft but the guy had his arms round his waist, then Carroll just barged into the player and anywhere else on the pitch it was a foul.

He could have given about 4 more pens and people will moan he wasn't consistent, but if he'd given everyone, people will moan that he was being too fussy. Ref's can't win when it's wrestling in the box it needs to be down to the players to sort out themselves or they're always going to get inconsistent decisions there.

 

Vardy's dive will always split opinions. Contact and easily gone down. Ref went in West Hams favour so had to give a yellow for the dive. Huth could have given away multiple penalties. Morgan did. Think Leicester's penalty was as much of a contact/dive as the other. West Ham were the better team overall. Just as long as Spuds don't take the title I don't care.
