    I know it seems harsh since they have effectively lost their daughter, but what kind of parents leave their kids in a room alone in a foreign country. I mean I have lots of sympathy for them, but are they ****ing ******ed or something.

    Well apparently the book by the Portugese investigator makes for uncomfortale reading. Traces of Madeline's blood found in the apartment, traces of blood found in the boot, the trained cadaber dogs going mad around Kate ("smelling death"), some friends not willing to leave their kids alone with Gerry during the holiday due to some strange inferences he made in the days leading up to the disappearance.

    There is alot of politics behind the scenes and I get a feeling that is what saved the McCanns from prosecution
